Looks like a swarm of tiny insects swirling around the huge ship and killing it with a hundred tiny hits.

Thanks to Star Wars: Rebellion, Bulk Cruisers will always have a special place in my heart. Early in the game, the are the best, affordable cruiser you can build. Yes, they were old, and yes, they were outmatched, but by God they put up one hell of a fight!

Linking Jake Farrell with those blue prototype A-Wings from the McQuarrie concept art? Hell. Yes.

I wish. It's an entirely unofficial, self-appointed role as their prophet-in-chief.

Smuggling shipment - isn't that a container from the X-Wing series?

A vendor on Amazon has the LCG Force pack Heroes and Legends as "In Stock" so it seems it is available to buy now.

How much are these books, actually? As in, worth it just for coffee-table value even if one probably won't be actually doing any RPGing in the near future?

Also, does FFG currently have any other free, online materials in PDF form besides The Long Arm of the Hutt?

Edge of the Empire is $59.99 MSRP but is $46.68 on Amazon. They range in price between $20-40 beyond that, and I imagine Age of Rebellion will be similarly priced. The card game is $40 for the starter box, though Amazon has it for $29.24, and the "expansion" boxes are $29.99 -- the two are $23 and $22 on Amazon. The "Force Packs" are $14.99, but you can get them for varying prices on Amazon.

Those new cards are great. I love their attention to detail---that Arcona has a jar and dish of salt in front of him, as befitting his yellow eyes.

Hah! Thanks for the heads up - I saw it was at pre-order at the local RPG store, but I didn't know it got released. TO THE STORE!

Wish I could go to a store to pick it up here... ;) I have to wait about a week for it to arrive at my home in the Netherlands. Still waiting for Dangerous Covenants, which was hold up at a US sorting-facility for over 10 days and is now in transit....

Aw, the Preybird. One of my favorite Star Wars fighters.

And one of Guri's ship! You certainly don't see a lot of those.

Jewel of Yavin is another success for FFG - a wonderfully complicated 'heist adventure' on Cloud City. (Spoiler: Bespin's still a gas giant)

Edge of the Empire is absolutely the best Star Wars RPG I've ever played (including D6, D20, and Saga). FFG has just perfectly captured the setting and crafted an awesome system to bolster fast-paced, narrative (but still crunchy) game play.
