So, I've fallen behind on buying the sourcebooks. Haven't picked up Jewel of Yavin or Dangerous Covenants. I want to pick one of them up this month but I'm unsure of which one to go with. I currently don't have a group to play with, so I am primarily reading these for the art and the in-universe lore. Any suggestions on which is better for that? I'm leaning towards Jewel of Yavin, but thought I would fish for info...

The art is outstanding in all the books. If you're looking for in-universe lore for Cloud City, Jewel of Yavin is your best bet. Dangerous Covenants' lore is mostly on equipment and ships, but there's other material specific to bounty hunters there.

Which book would you say has the best lore so far on alien cultures and/or the best descriptions of individual NPCs? (Just asking since you seem to know the books well, though anyone else who does is welcome to answer too.)

Well, there hasn't been a lot of books - The Corellian Sector SB has been the most comprehensive on alien cultures, but only for the Corellian Sector. The adventure books - The Jewel of Yavin and Beyond the Rim - have the most interesting fleshed-out characters.

As I said, I don't have the most recent 2, but the Corellian Sector sourcebook was awesome for the lore, in my opinion.

Absolutely, especially since it wasn't a retread of material - there's never been a Corellian Sector guide of any kind, RPG or otherwise. Most of the planet descriptions are completely brand-new.

When WotC ran the d20 RPG, there was some pretty extensive stuff on the Corellian Sector in the Coruscant and the Core Worlds sourcebook.

Ooh, ooh, let's caption all of them now! :D

...Except that I'm not feeling quite creative enough to come up with anything at the moment. Maybe a little later. Anyone?

Fitting enough those two are indeed on Froz, a world "burned down" by the Empire, and apparently looking for the planetary treasury still filled with Imperial credits. [face_whistling]

The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced that Cronal had a keen interest in the Darktrooper Project.

At this point, they could say Cronal was also somehow General Grievous, and I would believe it.

Some rando like Cronal gets all this development and yet we barely hear the name Ars Dangor anymore.

No, I'm not bitter. Why do you ask?
