What happens if we go to the boards and we are no longer a member?? Can we register as our old selves and start new?

 

I believe they will be transfering everything over. It would be a shame to have to start all over again.

 

Seriously, think about your question for a minute, and the answer should become apparent. Why would they possibly say "well, your account didn't transfer, I guess you're out of luck, you can't re-register and post again"? Also, yes, as stated multiple times in the first post and throughout the rest of this thread, we are trying to transfer everything over so that such a situation does not present itself.

 

I'm pretty sure what he was asking was whether or not his username would be protected in the case of the names not transferring.

 

Once we move, will there be VBulliten FireFox formating-bar-extention we can download?

 

Which features in particular are you looking for? Most are already part of vB.

 

The kinds of features and short-cuts seen on the IGN Forum-Formating-Bar....

I looked at Mozilla.org and couldn't find the IGN one or the VB one...

No, nothing spesific...just something that could poteintially be a very good editing/formating tool.

I'm really just curius to see where these extentions can be downloaded.

 

The IGN bar isn't an official Firefox plugin, and is not listed on their website.

Most of the features in the IGN version have since been added to the boards here.

As of right now, there are quick access buttons for bold, italics, underline, left, center, and right justification, indenting, creating lists, inserting pictures, inserting links, inserting e-mail addresses, and quoting other users. There also will be a pop-up window with the smilies.

 

Tonight it keeps saying for me to log in and saying the boards have been deleted. Is this anything to do with the move?

I am getting the same problem, and was hoping that's what it was...

 

I really don't know what is more unlikely to occur: the Dodgers winning the N.L. West with a sub. 500 record, or the JC actually moves. If both things happen, then it will be the end of all sanity in the e-universe.

Will we get an e-mail from the boards or will we automatically be transfered when we put the regular address in our browser?
Or will we come here and it has the new link and a notification message?

 

So is Phillip paying the $2K a month to keep us here? Or is that not that not started yet?
