Full Series Fate of the Clones

So I am guessing Rex and Echo picked up Wolffe after order 66.

 

I screamed at the top of my lungs in pure, unfiltered joy. I'm still crying even after my dad told me to calm down. Thank you, Dave Filoni.

 

Doesn't Echo have cybenetic parts now though?

 

Were really not sure how much of him is cybernetic though, we don't have the full animation from the Bad Batch arc and most of us didn't even see it so were not sure where these cybernetic parts are.They hid him in the trailer besides that one head shot though, Rex got most of the screen time.

I'm going with Echo because it just coincides with the Bad Batch arc, unless they want to throw Cody at us, which I wouldn't be surprised either.

 

Cody followed through on Order 66, though. I don't think he'll be welcomed among the ranks of a bunch of Order 66 deserters.

 

But i am pretty sure wolffe did to.

 

But Plo was killed by one of his pilots, possibly Warthog. Wolffe is not a pilot, so probably wan't directly responsible for Plo's Death. Maybe he felt sad that one of his men had killed his general?

 

I've can't find anything about Wolffe's whereabouts during Order 66.

 

How awesome is it that Rex becomes just like Cut Lawquane? I love that parallel.

 

Well without children but ya.

 

Because it doesn't exist. All clones that were created during the TCW and were alive when the show ended have the chance to come back. Exactly where Rex's whereabouts during Order 66 are known to the public yet either.

How long that stays is the real question.

How do you know they're Order 66 deserters? They could just be clone deserters who didn't like where things were headed.

I'd rather see Cody a high ranking commander of the Empire though, in charge of training new recruits or something like that, always thought that would be pretty neat.

 

Maybe Rex has a surname now as well?

 

That's because he was introduced in TCW. His fate was a mystery until now.

 

Well, for one, there's plenty of old material, either Legends or otherwise, about a lot of the more famous clones that we've encountered. I figured that there would have been something about Wollfe's whereabouts.

As for the second thing, I don't know, but I presume such because Order 66 was implanted into the brains of the Clones, so even if they had deserted prior to the execution, they would have been hardwired to follow through with the Order unless... of course, they refused to follow through with the Order: aka - Order 66 deserters.

 

HYYYYYYYYPPPPPPPEEEEE!!!! Rex and Wolffe. And let's hope Echo and the Batch shows up.

 

It's a quite interesting parallel. Can't you hear Rex's words to Dogma, "I used to think being a good soldier meant doing exactly what we were told..." I think there are also some parallels with that speech. It's interesting Rex seems to have ended up on what looked like the Void the infamous droid arc episode. Lots of symbolism there. It's good to see Rex should remain the same complex character in Rebels that he was in The Clone Wars. I just wish to have found out in details what happened in between and how he deserted.

now I want a Rex Animated/Live Action Series showing his , Wolffe and the 3rd clone how they went from Bad Batch to Rebels S2.

 

I think it's possible that many of the clones who went through with Order 66 realized it and regretted their actions. Or because Captain Rex and others were reassigned after leaving the side of Generals Kenobi and Skywalker they were not near a Jedi when Palpatine ordered it. After realizing what happened, they left with a walker on their own and defected after the Clone Wars ended.

It'll be interesting to see what happened to the many armies of clones after the war ended. The droids were all scrapped, but what do you do with organic lifeform?

You know, I just finished reading this morning that Rex was supposedly a 'no-go' for Rebels.

I step out for a few hours, take my daughter to a nice 1960's drive-in diner for lunch before we spend a verrry long time at one of our lovely lake-side playgrounds...

...and then I come home to this.

Awesome! What a day!


I'm absolutely thrilled to see Rex alive. And to discover my fondest wish for Rex -- that he is leading a small group of clones -- has actually been realized, is just so much icing on the Jogan fruit cake (though the question remains whether this group has already been operating as a small "A-Team" and taking the fight to the Empire, or if they are only spurred into action when we meet them?). Oh, and I see that an old Fett clone couldn't resist taking a little pot-shot at the Stormtroopers.

Okay, so now we know that he made it out of the war. That's the important part. Now the less pressing (but no less intriguing) question becomes, as with Ahsoka, "How?"

How did Rex (along with Wolffe and our clone mystery date) end up on the side of the resistance?


And what about the fate of so many other clones?

Did anyone else make it out?

Will we ever see any Fett clones on the side of the Empire in Rebels, or have they truly all been 'retired' (in one form or another)?

Are those menacing-looking Stormtroopers at Darth Vader's side of the Imperial 501st?


So many questions; so very much to look forward to!

according to Rebel Report the mystery clone is Gregor.

I don't give a toss about the clones per se, but what I do care about (and needs to be addressed) it what happened to clone army itself and production after Order 66. It does need to acknowledge how we went from clones to humans in 20 year period.

 

TCW character excitement is good. It always positive to see love for PT Clone Wars characters when they show up. I've been saying since last year Rebels is TCW 2.0. Disney may have ended TCW but Filoni is tying up loose ends.
