I've voted for the Sand People. This would've been a lot tougher before The Book of Boba Fett, but now it's a no-brainer.

 

The Mon Cals showing up with their battleships and fighting the Imperial fleet head-on baby!

Most are rather boring but Mon Calamari is at the top of my OT list.

 

Tossup between Wookiees and Hutts. Ultimately I voted for Hutts, Jabba was a pretty unique creation.

 

Think in this case, Hutts should beat everyone else

Wookiees! They seem primitive but are highly intelligent. They are a species you’d totally want on your side in battle. While they use crude weaponry, they also know how to fly and use modern technology as well. I think they should capitalize on tourism for Kashyyyk. It’s a nice planet.

 

I'm gonna go with Wookies as well for similar reasons. I don't know how anyone could really like the Sand People. I mean, they're coarse, and rough and irritating and they get everywhere.

 

I assumed the Hutts could afford nice cologne. The natural stench is bound to be bad though.

 

The OT have the most bizarre collection of aliens of any era in Star Wars. I'm terrified by some of the creatures they made for the movies, might be because many of them were practical

 

I'm surprised more aren't saying Ewoks tbh... yeah they're teddy bears but also look creepy, act vicious, and they're by-far the most fleshed out group of this list in the OT.

 

I’ll throw a vote to the ewoks. I dressed up as an Ewok for a birthday party once

Tie between Jawas and Hutts.

 

As a kid, I wouldn't say that I was scared of the Jawas, but I was close. I was most definitely scared of the Sand People.

I voted for the Ewoks. I liked them a lot as a kid, but I went to having a mixed-to-positive view of them in high school and early in college. But since then, I've become a fan of them.

Otherwise, I would have voted for Wookiees. But we only get to see Chewie. And I love Chewie. But I gotta admit that I wish that we had seen more Wookiees when I first watched the trilogy as a kid. I was like, "Chewie is so cool. Why can't we learn more about him and his people?"

 

You forgot about the Bith.

The Cantina Band were the real stars of A New Hope.

 

The Bith need to have their revenge.

 

Damn right, they do. They need to go on strike. No more performances until they get their just due.
