Welcome to the February New Stories Index for the Beyond the Saga Board!

This Index will be updated daily with new fan fiction stories from this board, and at the end of the month all of these stories will be combined to make a master list, along with fics from both the Before the Saga and The Saga Boards. Keep in mind I?m on EST, so if you posted a fic, and don?t see it on the index; check the day previous or next day?s index posts to see if it was a victim board time vs. real time (for me anyway).

I'll be maintaining this Index. If you've got any questions, please feel free to send me a Private Message. While I will be checking for new stories as often as I can, you?re welcome to send me the information for your fic via PM.

Challenge responses will not be indexed as they are to be included on the Fan Fiction Master Challenge Index Thread located on the Resource board. However, if you would like me to add it to the month?s current New Stories Index, just PM me the info, and I?ll add it to the day?s index log.

To make it easier for me when gathering the story data, please headline your fic with the following information in the first post. Notes: I have been working on this little vig for a while in note form, finally got round to editing it and typing it up. I noted while re-reading 'Dark Journey' (and subsequent books after) that Tsavong Lah never really gave much of a reaction to the death of his son Khalee. Whereas the reaction to his own fathers death was far more significant. I wanted to explore that and speculate a bit More chapters will be added as and when I write them. Anyone familiar with my fics will recognise this 'now' and 'then' format. I was becoming all nostalgic for it and realized it worked well with this fic.

Notes: This is a companion piece to Here Without You that I wrote about 3 or 4 years ago. (Crikey has it been that long?) That songfic was written from Anakin's pov, and was based on the "Three Doors Down" song of the same name. This piece is from Tahiri's pov. The song I have used for her is "Unchained Melody" by Hy Zaret and Alex North. There are many versions of the song. Personally I like the one by The Righteous Brothers, 1965, and also the rendition by Gerry and the Pacemakers.
Anyway - in this songfic I have tried to create the same tone and sense of hope and timeless love that are in the song itself. You may need a tissue - but hopefully that won't put the guys off.
