Star Wars has never been the one bit realistic. I have no problem with her or Fett living. It makes sense within the universe

 

She certainly has a lot of wiring and piping under her armour now.

Sometimes wondered how that all worked for Maul.

Boba survives a Sarlac, Anakin loses both arms and legs plus gets toasted, Sidious survives an exploding deathstar, Maul survives getting cut in half... and this is where we draw the line???

 

I'm glad she's back! Cool actress, and I heart cyborgs in SW.

I'm wondering if she was always a cyborg?

 

I think how the showed it that was new

 

I will say I like her more than Cara Dune (at least in terms of the recurring female actresses in the series). A sniper just seems to fit in more with the action in this series than someone who relies more on hand to hand combat.

 

I like Ming-Na Wen as actress and I think the producers of this show like her as well, which is why they brought her back. But I would have preferred if she stayed dead and instead they created a new character that works with Boba. There have been too many characters brought back to life in SW in the last decade and its starting to cheapen the storytelling for me.

But she's back, so how do we think she's still surviving? How much cyborg is she? Just the stomach or more? And how much control does Boba have over her? Is she working for him out of gratitude/honor debt or cause Boba has a remote switch for her cybernetic implants and can switch her off at any time if she decides to disobey.

If I was in Boba's place, I would have put in some "safety measures" just in case. Even if the other party doesn't know about them and they work for me willingly, if they ever change their mind, they would be up for a surprise

 

Plus she can actually act!

 

Yeah. It is really difficult to believe Boba Fett (Who looks like he was living a simple life in his ship out in the desert) would have the ability or the facilities needed to cyborg Fennec back to life. I mean why couldn't Anakin (someone who we know actually had great skill with machines and cybernetics) take his mother back to the homestead and just cyborg her back to life?

 

Well the implication was that Shand wasn't dead yet to begin with.
Her return was hinted at in the very episode where she was blasted, I think the fact that it apparently took Boba some hours to recover her makes her survival less plausible for me, more than the fact that she was blasted. But I can buy that given treatment she could have survived the wound alone.

 

He probably took her Cornelius Evazan's chop shop..

More like the Dirty Dozen crossed with the Magnificent 7..and many of them died.

 

I loved Ming-Na Wen in AOS and was disappointed to see her get seemingly killed off last season. Seeing her back is beyond cool.
