FF SW Trivial Pursuit - ANH - And the winner is...

You all know that I had big personal problems and I like to apologise for the long break again. I really didn't like to let you wait that long, but I couldn't promise to do a good game in the last months. I'm glad that you all understand this.

Now I've got my own flat, to which I'll move in the end of January. That is why the sign up will be until the 25th. If I start the game one week earlier, it will collide with my move and since I'm sure that the week after my move will be busy with various stuff, I think it is better to start with the 25th fully and with no further delay.


But now back to the original topic...

You played the last round? And you want to show how much you know about ANH? Then joins us in this game. Although you might know most things and rules from the games before, I ask you to re-read the rules.

Or did you miss the last rounds about TPM, AotC and RotS? Then don't worry, you can still participate and win the various rounds, because every team starts with 0 points in every movie round. Just sign up!


FanForce Star Wars Trivial Pursuit

Please read the rules completely (again).

This SW Trivial Pursuit game will be played by teams who have to answer about 10 questions each week. There will be 4 weeks for each round. Each round will be under the topic of a movie, beginning with TPM and ending with RotJ. The team that answers most questions of one round correctly is the winner of the round. There will be also a winner after all six movies (or rounds). The team who get the best average position in the end of all six movies is the winner of the whole game/saga. So it is the best to participate in all rounds, but it is also possible to do a break within the rounds (only complete rounds) or to jump in after a round is finished.

You can sign up for the fourth round until the 25th of January(8am). The first game will start on the 26th of January at 8am.

Important: Please, read the rules before every round, because I might add changes, if necessary.



Team Rules:

• A team consists of 3 FF members:
  The game will be played by teams of 3 FF members. Only FF members are allowed to participate. We support if the team members are from the same FF, but if you want to participate and can?t find another member of your FF, or you don?t have a FF, let me know and I will help you.



• Each team must submit a team name, a team captain and if possible the FF they are from.



• Of course, multiple teams from one chapter can compete.



• A maximum of 15 teams can play per game.

Game Rules:

• The questions will be posted on Friday between 8am to 10am.



• You have three days to answer the questions. Your answers have to be in on Monday, 8am, at the very latest.



• If I am not able to post the questions on Friday (with two hours leeway), I will post it one day later at the exact time (again, with two hours flexibility). The time when you should sent in your answers in by won?t change. You can send in your answers always until Monday 8am. If I am not able to post them at the second chance, I won?t post them before the next week. But I will give you a reason why I have not been able to post them.



• It is not allowed to discuss the questions and answers in public on the boards. Teams who do so will be disqualified for this round, because this is not fair for the other teams.



• In the event of a tie I will ask a tie breaker question. Time may be an issue here. Further (harder) rules for this case will be announced if a tie occurs.



• The game is sorted by SW movies. The first round is mostly about TPM, the second one about AotC and so on. But this does not mean that there are not any cross-over questions as well. Keep this in mind.



• If I ask direct movie questions, I am referring to the DVD-Versions from 2004.

Since there are only one/two teams so far and I know about at least one team that wants to play as well, I extend the sign-up time until next Friday (2/2/07). The more teams play, the more fun it is.

Just want to let you know that I've read your posts, but I have to check something first to give a final answer.

 

Ok, the checking was as I expected.

Grant, it would be better if you find a third player (like all other teams), but I'll allow teams with just two players in this round, because there are only four teams and I think it would be unfair to cancel this round because of teams with just two players. It's all about fun and not about rules, isn't it?
