For the Ventress fans - Favourite scene

Maul's saber was actually two lightsaber's coupled together and could be used independently apparently as shown once his lightsaber was cut in half and before that during the Tatooine duel with Jinn. During CW he used his remainder saber half which was a singular saber hilt. But what I meant was there were a few times having the double-bladed weapon wouldve been ideal rather than using them separately as all to often one of her sabers was knocked outve her hand. Ventress always had the duel curved Dooku-tyle sabers that coupled together to form the S shape duel saber was pretty much always her signature weapon as compared to Dooku/Tyranus or Maul.

The Nightbrothers in SOD use electro staffs which act as kinda double-bladed lightsabers so there could be something to their Dathomirian background. Usually that weapon was supposed to be reserved for the Sith but they started giving Jedi doube-bladed lightsabers to where the Jedi Temple Guards all use them( and Krell used two).

The Inquisitor's double-bladed lightsaber looks more modeled on Exar Kun's regular sized lightsaber/singular hilt but with duel capacity.

Ventress is now apparently reduced to a regular conventional single lightsaber(with a more unique blade color).

 

I was not the biggest ventress fan at the beginning but she got loads better.

I really enjoyed Ventress in both series, and I don't mind the evolution of the character in the final Ahsoka arc. She does share some similar storylines with Maul, but I never felt she was a female imitation of him. They've given her plenty of development to set her apart from Maul - but both will always have a connection to Dathomir, which will always be part of who they are.

 

My favorite scene of her probably would one in which she's interacting with Ahsoka during Ahsoka's final arc in Season Five. I like how Asajj evolved and softened. It's realistic. Not everyone who goes through horrible things becomes worse and even more jaded. Sometimes, people change for the better and find out who they are. Asajj hasn't finished that yet, and it will be interesting to see how she turns out in Dark Disciple. I certainly know what my favorite line of hers is: "My master abandoned me, and that's exactly what you did to her...you and your precious Jedi Order."

 

Pretty much all this. I remember being surprised by how well Ventress fought against Luminara and Tano.

 

Your welcome, as Ventress has grown to be one of my favorite TCW characters. Should I be worried when I agree with Ventress on Tano being obnoxious, at least in the first season?

 

Did't really care for her in the first two seasons. However, I can see why some would like her snark in that season.

Liked this fight between her and Obi-Wan, mainly for some of there banter.

 

IF it had been 'officially' aired I think Ventress' 'Casual Sexism Is Not Cool' lesson to Vos (via the medium of fist) would have been right up there with her best moments. Probably is anyway, for me. That said, she is a great example of how to make a character go from outright villainous to legitimately morally grey without compromise in all of animation. She gained enough heroic traits organically to become a genuine anti-hero but without ever becoming in any way soft or sacrificing what I can only describe as her, well, Ventressness.

(There was apparently some nonsense about a bomber arc with a Ventress clone or imitator knocking about but I am not listening lalalalala)

 

Vos shouldve called her toots. Ventress seems attracted to Vos, hope things do not get too mushy in Dark Disciple and waste pages .

 

We seriously needed more Obi-Wan and Ventress episodes.

 

Loved all her scenes and her development from Sith Acolyte (loosely defined as a darksider serving the Sith) to her "reform" to an independent operator / bounty hunter.

Specifically though...the flashbacks to her youth and when she walked away at the end of Bounty stating she had a future.

 

While the Maul/Savage arcs really were gross fan service, whenever I see this fight I just can't bring myself to get upset about it.

 

Of course few want to give Ahsoka any credit for saving Luminara in the first place.

 

Nothing tops this fight, IMO.

 

Well with Dark Deciples coming we will soon know her ultimate fate.

 

Except for Luminara and the show itself, which didn't fail to remind the audience, of course.

I think it's pretty weak. The whole thing is ridiculous to the point of unintentional comedy, and everyone in it comes off looking their worst, Ventress in particular, but Dooku and Savage, too.

 

Not condemning or condoning it....but there is a strong argument to be made for her being too pissed off at him for his betrayal.
