Friends: Episode-by-Episode 10.17 & 10.18 "The Last One"

Who here watches friends even in the re-runs.. I like the show and it is still funny wish they would of made a movie about it

I've never watched it consistently...some episodes are very funny; others are not.

 

All the ones that i have watched have been funny.. It makes more sense if you can watch a season from start to end.. I do like how the episodes are able to be watched without watching the one's previous but can also be watched as a consistent story.

No this is just a discussion of the show. Maybe a movie could be made.. lol.

 

They're too old. Same with Seinfeld. The behaviour is funny while they're relatively young; after that it becomes rather pathetic.

 

Ya but they did make a sex and the city movie.

So I think that they could make a new friends movie.. I know that I would go and see it.. Just not sure how they would stretch a 20 minute episode into a two hour movie.. And you are right with them being older they might not be as funny.

Love Friends... Seen each episode at least 5 times, own all seasons. No need for a feature flick. I don't think it would transfer well. Besides in 10 to 20 years time, they'll make a movie about it anyways, and it'll be really bad...

Hopefully not.. i just hope that they do make one.. I guess my thing is how would they take 20 minutes and stretch it to two hours.

 

I actually bought the complete series box sex a few weeks ago. It took me 16 days of near non-stop watching to get through all 236 episodes. It was rough...

 

Did you enjoy it? I have only seen the first six seasons the complete way through.. waiting for my library to get the other seasons.. it is free rentals for me.. i know i am a cheap bastard. I can't wait to see the later seasons.. it seemed to me to get better as it went.. What did you think of the finale?

To be honest i would like to hear recaps of what happens in season's 7-10.. Would that be possible?

 

I own all 10 seasons. It's an awesome show

It would suck as a movie, though. IMO they wrapped it up nicely, with everyone happy. Monica and Chandler got twins, Rachel and Ross are together, Pheobe's married. No need for a movie; it could just screw everything up. Look at how that spin-off about Joey turned out (it sucked and was cancelled after a season and a half).

 

this is one of my favorite shows and I've seen each episode a crapload of times too. If he doesn't want to do the episode by episode thread, I'd be willing to do it.

 

FRIENDS episode guide, by season & episode.

I'll say it again: Friends Season 2 thru 5 was hilarious and kick-ass (S1 was so-so, but showed more potential as the show went on). S6, S7 and S8 were spotty. S9 and S10 were mostly forgettable, with some hilarious moments popping up now and then. I hardly laughed through the final season, but it wrapped up with some good jokes, and cleverly wrapped up loose ends on running jokes going all the way back to S2 and S1.

 

Thanks for that really neat site.. I don't know i think that i would still like this show even in it's later seasons.. even though the seasons that i have been seeing are the 5-8 set.

I thought the point about that was that they were aging...
