I always thought Garfield and Heathcliff were cousins. I remember thinking that from when I was younger. Did they ever team up in an episode?

You're referring to Riff-Raff and the Catillac Cats. As I stated before I think Riff-Raffs cool bravado blows both of these chumps right out of the water.

I totally forgot about Riff Raff! Very true! He was better than both of them. He was actually my favorite segment on that show. even had his own crew. And had a drop top caddy that could change to a house or a plane! he was a pimp. How can Riff be denied??

Who the hell wants to hear from a cynic when you're 6 years old?? (j/k..well, not really, but..lol).

I know Garfield is the runaway leader so far, but I think it's just media bias. Riff Raff was far better.

FYI-- Since you guys seem to be such big cartoon fans, did you know Mel Blanc did the voice of Heathcliff? Remember heathcliff's infamous laugh at the end of every episode? It was so stupid, I'm still laughing.

 

It's almost as if Rif Raff and his crew occupied a separate universe than Heathcliff and had their own canon. Did they ever have any crossovers with Heathcliff ? I can barely remember.

Yeah, there were a couple episodes where they fought over her...or something. I don't exactly remember the details, but it involved those three.

 

What a dangerous love triangle. I mean, what was Heathcliff thinking ? Rif Raff is a street cat and would probably kick his ass, especially over a woman.

 

And he's just so damn smooth, it's not like that fatty Heathcliff had a chance.
