Artist Gobi-1's Fan Art (Update 10/26/15 Video Supercut)

Some of the photo imaging software outthere have the tv lines as a standard filter. Mine doesn't so I had to recreate it myself. Most of my posters are 700x1000 so I took a plain white page 700x 1000 and drew one black line across it. I then copied the line and placed it one space apove my original line. I copied and pasted the line several times until I had a nice wide row of lines.

I save it as a jpeg and then I copied all the lines and pasted it above the original rows. I then copied and pasted until I had covered the whole page.

I saved that as a jpeg and then I pasted it on a new background just a bit bigger then 700x1000. I then saved that as a jpeg. I croped the white from around the black lines. Since it was black and white I needed to only crop once to get rid of all the white. I saved that layer of lines as a PSF so I could layer it onto any poster I wanted to.

It took me a while to do but it looks great.

good work gobi, i just got my account. i was wonderin if u still will make a wallpaper with pics in the words star wars. if u still do u wud make me extremely happy. i am awaitin rots like a kid waiting for candy. the pics i am enclosing are not all of ep 3 but of general pics of people and characters in star wars. please and THANK YOU

I want to give credit to Genchild who made a wallpaper of the poster and painted the credits out. It was his version of the poster I used for the cover.

 

i like that cover and if u dont mind, i would appreciate another wallpaper with pictures in the words star wars. i if u r not 2 busy this will be most appreciated

Gobi, the poster image really looks nice on the front of the soundtrack cover. Just looking at it is getting me all excited for its release. However, I'm curious if they will have multiple covers like they did for AOTC. Perhaps you could do some concepts of what they would look like?

 

Actually Pooja over in the 3SA fan art thread has already done a series of soundtrack covers so you can check those out. I may do some more tomorrow.

Those are great, Gobi! If these were to appear in stores, you definitely have created a tough decision on my part. I wouldn't know which one to choose - although, I think I could narrow it down to the clonetrooper, Vader, Yoda and Mace. They are all very nicely done and once again, have that professional feel to them. Excellent work!
