Why do you think Rian Johnson was so unwilling to consider Mark Hamill’s and the fans concerns about Luke’s behavior being so out of character for him in TLJ?

I mean there are great examples of director listening to the fans or their actors and a better product coming forward as a result. For example the Sonic movie and and the Wednesday Adams series on Netflix.

Yeah I know I just wanted to post an Outline also, I guess fanfic section isn't the most suitable ?

 

Does anyone know if the name Sheev resembling the name Shmi was intentional?
It's certainly fitting either way.

This is something I feel like I should know but.... the blue-uniformed guards that Palpatine has in Episode I: are they his personal guard from Naboo, or Senate appointed guards (like Secret Service or whatever)?

 

They're Senate guards, forerunner of the Imperial Royal Guard from ROTJ. Palpatine replaced their design with the familiar red uniforms by Episode II.

 

As mentioned, they are Senate Guards. You can see them escorting Valorum when he arrives to the landing platform on Coruscant. While Palpatine had his personal red guards in Episodes II and III, you can still see the blue senate guards in those movies in the senate building.

 

Do we know what became of Tank? I’d check wookiepedia but I use Safari browser and it’s guff when it comes to websites with a plethora of ads, and pop up’s.

I skipped to the end of his lengthy Wookieepedia entry, but it doesn't look good for him. After serving the Empire and betraying Luke, he got a fraction of last-second redemption by saving Leia before falling to his (apparent) death; however, the page lists both his allegiance and his ultimate fate as "unresolved".

Of course, that's his Legends tab. In the new Canon, he's merely a footnote.

 

Just a few questions about TROS:
1. In TROS, why was Poe so obsessed with knowing what Finn was going to say to Rey? He doesn't seem like the nosy type.
2. In the novel, after it was revealed Poe was a spice runner, he kept glancing at Rey as if he was worried about what she might think. Why was that? Why does he care what Rey thinks?
3. Why did Poe and Rey squeeze each other's hands during the three way hug at the end of the movie?
