I'd say that's pretty wild.

 

When actually discussing Jedi topics, anyone can post here. If it's just socializing you should be a GoL member. Some "friends of the GoL" can also socialize here, generally by being either SWC Jedi or players in the GoL RPG.

The Gap

The Jedi Knight watched from the deepest part of the cavity as his pupils exercised their connection to the force. Dusting themselves off, they stood before him with a relieved look in their eyes.

"As you can see, this test is pass or fail. Thankfully, you both passed the first part." he said informatively. He thought to himself and decided against sharing the tale of the padawan learners who didn't pass in previous times...

"A Jedi's connection to the Force is everything. As important as the life-blood in your veins or the air you breath. Never doubt that connection. As you grow in your abilities, you will learn various ways of movement."

Walking in between the two, Koji walked up to the edge of the stone platform and continued, "Which leads us to the second and final portion of this test."

Motioning his arm, he pointed up, "the top of this mountain is your goal. You will use the force to jump to the upper plateau, but being more than 20 meters high it will take the combined effort of the two of you to make it. Since Red jumped first earlier, Silent will take first jump. Begin when ready."

I nod at Master The Vanguard and smiled slightly vncredleader. "Good luck." I tell them before staring up at the towering cliff above. As I take a deep breath I roll my shoulders, trying to relax as I felt the warmth of the force around me. Stepping back for a moment I glance up to a cliff ledge and push down to the ground with the force, jumping up to the ledge and grabbing on to the ledge, pulling myself up and gripping the rock face on the other side. I look down again and smile.

"Come on, the mountain isn't going to climb itself!"

I stare right ahead and take an deep breath before taking off. I run an the side of the cliff and jumped. I felt Silent boost me up almost twice as high as my jump. i landed on the cliff awkwardly and nearly fell backwards before Silent pulled me back up. "Thanks" I said

"You're welcome." I say, nodding again. I look up and start to grip the gaps and ledges in the rock as I start climbing up the rock face. "Once we reach the halfway point I'll boost you up again onto the next edge, and then you can help me up." I explain.

After a few minuets we reached the halfway point. I look at Silent and nodded before leaping over the the next small ledge. Having gotten some experience now I was able to land more safely. "Now your turn" I said.

 

"Just don't drop me." I joke as I place my arms at my side. I looked back up at the cliff and waited for vncredleader to throw me up the cliff to the next ledge.

I reach out with the Force, grabbing silent. They do a Force augmented leap upwards which I boost. They land on the edge with me.
"Only one more to go" I say staring at the longest jump yet.

"We've got this. Just trust yourself." I say before holding my hands out. "Once I throw you up, use the force to push/pull yourself the rest of the way." I gently lift vncredleader before throwing them up the cliff.

The Gap

The Lorrdian watched with a quiet observation as his students put their knowledge to practical application. An ounce of pride began to well up inside him. There was nothing more fulfilling than to see young Jedi realize their potential, even in small steps. Still, they had a long way to go and he would be the reflection of their success or failure. It was something he took very seriously.

He glanced up again to the pair of jumpers who were near the top. Since they had a head-start, he thought it was high time he joined the climb. With a soundless explosion of force, Koji leapt up to the first ledge. Then the second. He soared. Legs pushed, arms pulled. Slow and smooth made for quick movement until he was finally caught up to his pupils.

Landing next to Silent he glanced over to his Padawan, "Here we go." He nodded and she understood.

Simultaneous to her final jump, Koji sent the force behind her - intertwining with her own Force jump she boosted high into the air and up to the plateau-top with Red.

"Now bring me up." He leapt up and was caught into a pull by the two padawan from the top of the mountain. Great was their combined strength that Koji overshot the landing area by a dozen meters.

Rolling to his feet he chuckled. "Well done you two. Let us return to the Temple, you may have leave for the rest of the day. Spend your free time wisely."

The three paths that a Jedi can take after completing an apprenticeship are as follows: Guardian, Consular, or Sentinel. There are also subdivisions or specializations inside the paths, but the three classes are the main thing.

The first is that of a guardian. A guardian is their name; they train with the lightsaber, their bodies, and/or other weapons. They want to protect the innocent and deliver justice to evil-doers. They constantly train to become better at their discipline and have in the past defended the republic and fought wars.

The second is that of a Consular. A consular devotes himself to the study, knowledge, and usage of the force. They are most often the literal peacekeepers, working tirelessly for a solution that they may be the only ones looking for. They also use their mastery of the force in other applications, including healing and prophesying, using the living and unifying force respectively.

Last, we have the mysterious Sentinels. These try to strike a balance between combat training and study of the force, combining this with civilian techniques. They generally use more unconventional or frowned upon techniques, and take missions that neither of the other groups are optimized for or want.

My favorite is the consular class, with the way they follow the light, and how devoted they are to peace. If I had to choose a specialization, I would probably choose something equal parts healer/watchmen/researcher. That is to say, I would like best to look after one planet (for a while anyway) and both literally and figuratively heal it while becoming an expert about the planet's history and its nature.

A very interesting duel Master Vo'Un'Var. Before I offer my own thoughts I would like yours. What did you learn from this experience? How did you use your chosen Form to enhance your skills in the duel?

 

Well, Edo was a good opponent, I learnt some new things in this duel, Well, My form is for dueling, Which definitely helped, Very Interesting, I got to know my fellow padawan a bit more.

 

"You seamlessly integrate forced based attacks into your strikes. Though your blade work could use some refinement, it is nonetheless impressive considering how early in your training you still are. For your next task I would like you to offer brief report on Form II. Demonstrate a knowledge of its moves and maneuvers. As well as its weaknesses, and how you intend to compensate for them."
