If enough people get angry about the name, then Lucasfilm might retcon "Blotus the Hutt" the way they changed Elan Sleazebaggano to "Elan Sel'Sabagno". :p

Unpopular opinion, the dog fights in TFA and TLJ are better than ANH and ROTJ.

The dog fights in the OT trilogy is quite boring really. I watch for the Luke and Vader scenes.

Yes, exactly. It's a crime that across ALL SW MEDIA, Yoda has never been shirtless.

The Battle of Endor was boring. Watching teddy bears fight the Empire was eh. I’d have preferred it was Kashyyyk and wookiees. I’d have loved to see wookiees removing stormtrooper arm sockets. :p

This is definitely not an unpopular opinion.

While I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Book of Boba Fett, I hope that they continue to use ‘Daimyo Fett’s Tatooine’ as a setting to return to. I’d really like if there was a permanent status quo change, and other characters can drop in from time to time to visit for whatever reasons. And of course, more Temeura Morrison is always welcome.

The Clone Wars was good at that kind of revisitation and expansion of previously set up concepts, so I hope the Mandoverse does the same.

Count Dooku is the most intresting villain of Star Wars.

I wouldn't say the most, but he's definitely interesting.

Major Dooku fan here, but I find he actually is the least interesting of the villains in the Prequels.

For me its because Dooku is not the bad sith we all know in Maul, Vader and Palpatine. He is not evil for evil sake. He wants to help build a better galaxy. My main interest is of his backstory.

Mace Windu shouldn't be alive post-RotS. I love both the character and Jackson, but it would ruin the impact of Mace's death. His death was supposed to be the point of no return for Anakin, which then motivated him to make a series of terrible decisions until Luke told him it wasn't too late for him for him to atone. Having Windu survive that undermines that a bit.

However, I would be okay with Mace returning as a force ghost and within flashbacks. I could see him counselling Ahsoka in her show. The Jedi Order did let her down.

You make good points, that is if you read the Dooku novel, comics, and watch TCW. If you go off only the films, he comes across as generic Count Dracula with political purposes.

In response to the Chosen One Prophecy mania:

It is my opinion that a prequel adds layers and backstory to the original while the sequel continues the story in a way that ultimately makes it better, explores a new concept in the familiar world, or ties up loose ends. That being said, with a huge franchise like SW you have 3 films in the Original, 3 for a prequel, and 3 as a sequel. Is ANH a standalone film? Is TCW a standalone? TLJ? It is in a way. You can watch those films and have a complete, maybe not "good" story. At the same time the OT, PT, and ST are standalones. The OT has a complete story. But then you add the idea that the entire 9 films are a story complete in and of itself, just seen in installments. Just as ESB established that Vader was Luke's father, the PT established the prophecy of a Chosen One. Watching ANH with the knowledge that Vader is Luke's father adds an entirely new layer, while not detracting from the original, albeit fairly shallow story. ROTJ is a great story that shows Vader's redemption. The PT adding the element of the Chosen One prophecy adds a layer to the OT as a whole, that knowing that information then adds much more depth to ROTJ and the moment that Vader destroys the Sith. Knowing and not knowing the CO prophecy does not change the fact that Anakin destroyed Sidious and his former identity of Vader -- it adds more universal meaning.

In response to the "Anakin = Jesus" concept:

I don't think it's so much Anakin/Vader = Jesus. It's more Anakin/Vader is a comparison to Jesus. As a Christian myself, I would be offended if someone suggested A/V = Jesus, yet not if it is a comparison. As a comparison with some parallels, yet not all, I can appreciate the themes of redemption; yet I will not say that Anakin is a Savior or that he was ever sinless (as Jesus was). It is an interesting concept that GL might have done this with some Biblical stories in mind.

Again I don't think this is an unpopular opinion. Otherwise the Holiday Special is canon. [face_hypnotized]

Sam Jackson is a great actor, but he was miscast as a Jedi Master.

Agree on this. I think his best role could have been a bounty hunter or even a Sith in place of Dooku.

    That would definitely work.

I could also see him as a Jedi knight struggling with dark side issues.
