Even though I dont agree with JenJen and think there is much worse things they can read,more underagers have been making there way to the boards more often .I have seen many 9,10,11 year olds on the board that simply lied about their age.

 

What you say is true, but the point is that it's not necessarily the members' responsibility to pander (which I'll admit is a poor word choice) to the younger ones, who legally are not even supposed to be here. We didn't lie about our age... they did. They are coming to a place that's already been established for a certain age group.

Because that's precisely what RotJ implies is what happened? You don't honestly think a court like Jabba's would have allowed her to go in some nicely outfitted stall to change, do you? Shots of the court do show various courtiers leering at Leia as well as Jabba waving his tongue in her direction about half a second before it seems to get on her body (the camera at that point pans to 3PO shuddering). The point is it was a very degrading experience for Leia.

But anyway. I'm calm.

Edit: Elf, I've been wearing a gold bikini under my sexy labcoats and safety glasses for years now. I wondered when the world would find out.

Anyway, on the more serious side: According to Tales from Jabba's Palace (the Max Rebo story), two dancing girls stripped Leia naked right on the spot, in front of Jabba and all his cronies to see, then gave her the bikini (presumbably so she could put it on herself). Poor Leia.

Personally, I always imagined that Leia was taken to a special room, with a tailor droid, that was stocked with hundreds of golden bikinis for all kinds of species and sizes. The droid would take measurements, and in just a few minutes Leia would get a bikini that fit her.

I always thought that Jabba would refrain from spying, so that he could enjoy imagining what was under that metal...

That brings up a good point. Other than the desire to retain a PG rating, why didn't Jabba have Leia sit with her wearing only her collar? Moreover, other than allowing us drooling fanboys to get a good look at her, why didn't Jabba have her sitting facing him? You'd think that he'd enjoy the front view more than the back. If RotJ never became a movie, do you think that Leia would be naked instead of dressed in a bikini, and facing Jabba (not only for his amusement, but so that others in his court wouldn't be able to see her front side)?

 

Okay, now we're definitely going too far with this

I always thought it was cool how she managed to kill Jabba. One of the most powerful gangsters in the galaxy, strangled at the bare hands (and chain) of a Skywalker. That'll teach him to mess with the galaxy's most dangerous family.
