Terrance Howard as War Machine? As much as I like the him I don't think he's fit for that part. Needs someone older, rougher, like Carl Weathers or President Palmer from 24. As for Tony... hard part to cast. Not alot of actors can pull of the moustache. With the right casting this could have great potential. Iron Man is a very popular comic, great story to work with. Everyone loves robots, there hasn't been a decent robot/cyborg movie since Terminator and Robocop. Save of course Iron Giant, though that's another category.

Remember the bombardier who passed himself off as a doctor in Memphis Belle? I always thought Tony would look like a 40ish version of him. Of course, as a kid I thought Stark was a twit. ;p

 

I think Jonathan Frakes from next gen would have made an awesome ironman, but he's a bit too old now.

I've heard the name of Cruise being tossed about as Stark. Were this to happen I think there would be a massive uprising by fanboys everywhere, which would culminate with the usurpation of the major studios and the death of Uwe Boll. Actually, that last one should happen anyway.
