Thanks. I decided that I wouldn’t buy any collectibles this year, but I couldn’t pass up the chance to get this item at such a good price. I think you’re onto something regarding the seller. I looked at his other items and there’s quite a few Star Wars collectibles that seem to have been posted at the same time. Hopefully he’s happy to get the item off his hands and to make a few pounds at the same time.

 

just heard Anthony Daniels on the radio, he's selling off his SW props and etc.

 

I saw that on the BBC News site. The C-3PO helmet is expected to go for £1m. He’s in his late 70s, so I suppose he’s selling them off while he’s still young enough to enjoy the proceeds.

My copy of Eye of Darkness came today. Apparently the recommendation is to read one of the short stories in Tales of Light and The Blade before diving into it. Guess I know what I'll be doing this weekend....catching up on High Republic stories!

My copy of The Blade arrived today. I’m a little behind on my High Republic reading, so I’m going to try to catch up a little over the holiday period.

 

I want to buy THE Blade soon I have not got much reading done lately

Yeah, Merry Christmas to those who celebrate! I got surprised with a Lego Mandalorian helmet. I gave my wife a mug (from our baby) with “Yoda Best Mum” on it.

 

I’ve seen the stormtrooper whisky glasses. They look cool. Something a little different for your favourite tipple.

There’s a couple of different kinds. There’s the traditional whisky tumbler design and a double-walled version.




There’s also decanters available.



They’re available from a few different stores. Amazon & eBay have them as does a store called Menkind (I think that might be UK-based).
