ST I Have A Bad Feeling About This - The "Haters" Sanctuary

really is just an admittance that you can't have a non-Skywaker protagonist in the Skywalker family Saga. It's nonsensical, she's replacing her real parents for the Skywalkers. How are the Skywalker anything + in the Galaxy?

she basically admits that Luke was nowhere near her family, yet she wants to honor him, LOL. Continuing the Jedi is how you honor Luke, not taking his name. It's not earned anywhere in the ST. The one who was like a father to her was Han and mom Leia......

and also a way to end the Skywalker Saga forever, not even leaving any doors for anything. It also feels like it's problematic when the Skywalkers never get any real redemption. Kylo dying for Rey doesn't redeem anything from the family, it's a Palpatine who "redeems" the family. It leaves the entire Saga on a bad note, it doesn't go full circle, unless one thinks a Palpatine ending Palpatine forever does that.

Terrio and others say SW is about redemption. I don't see any redemption for the central core of the Saga...........................

 

Kinda disappointed no one has used this for new members to come in and join us.

 

It's nice of John Williams to name a song after Rey's parents that she'll reject a few scenes later.

well her new home is on Tatooine, LOL.

at this point it just feels like she wants famous parents. Like how in TFA she just wanted her parents but then in TLJ she was sad that they were nobodies.....

 

But ANYONE can CHOOSE to be a Skywalker!

 

I have a bad feeling that TROS is going to start off with a cool opening scene, and have a touching Leia scene or two early on, then Act 2 is pretty great and super-fast paced with great visuals, but then the ending is really underwhelming. Like a "That's it?" kind of ending with all the Palpatine stuff in Act 3 being a retread of other Palpatine lines and stuff we've seen already before. I hope I am wrong!

 

According to these leaks, she discovers who her parents are and that they died trying to protect her or something... and so to honour their sacrifice she... adopts the Skywalker name. Rey Random is now forever defined by the Skywalkers, undermining the last argument for having Rey Random in the first place.

She finally finds her family; and they're good people it would seem, and so she rejects them entirely.

There's your 'satisfying' ending folks.

 

Just read the latest leaks and I am nearly enraged. Not berserk, but angry at the decisions undergone if they are correct.

At the top of the list are the deliberate snub of Anakin (unless that's a total lie to surprise us) and Kylo's survival and sacrifice for Rey.
That's not all, just the top two things that I dislike about the new leaks.

 

is Han in the leaks at least? That sucks that there is no Anakin and I really hope there is no kiss.
