I MET IAN MCDIARMID!!

I kneed Ian McDiarmid in the diarmids. He threw up on my shoes.

 

I've met him too though after a very long day on the set and he was exhausted. Nevertheless, he was a very gracious gentleman and shook my hand and talked for a minute.

 

Did y'all know he is nominated for a Tony Award this year? It's rather cool IMO....

If you can get to NYC, all of the actors in his playleave at the same exit door after the show, anyone can stand there and interact with him. His show Faith Healeris running til August.

But I agree that you should have gone to see his play instead of Julia's. Although Paul Rudd is great.

Well my wife likes Julia Roberts, and she figured we'd never get a chance like this again, so we took it. And I didn't know until a month ago that Ian was gonna be on Broadway.

 

The closest I've got to Mcdiarmid was seeing him in The Tempest when I went with my school, years ago.
