So, here it is, in it's coloured glory: fanart tribute to the cartoon of my childhood.

"Pluk in Space" (or "Pluk, naufragé de l'espace") is sci-fi animated feature for children, created in 70's by French studio "Films Jean Image", and it was later adapted into TV series with some added segments and some segmends extended to pad time.
So, what is "Pluk" all about?
It follows adventures of young genius Nikki who dreams to be astronaut but his prototype spaceship "Argo X-001" is not yet spaceworthy. But one night, through skylight of his lab, crashes yellow alien robot named Pluk. Like Nikki, Pluk is an explorer who's ship "Cosmos" was seised and stolen by race of evil robots called Durans (who look like mean red boxes with nasty sharp teeth), and he agrees to help Nikki get "Argo" spaceworthy but only if he helps him recover "Cosmos" from Duran clutches.
On expedition also go: Nikki's girlfriend Babette, and their uplifted dog Jupiter, who despite being humoristic relief (jokes usualy revolves about him bicker with Pluk and Pluk being mean to him) is actually quite competent and saves his friends on several ocassions.
On their trip to Duran's homeworld (it was never named but I call it Duran Duran ) they enconter pirate satelite possessed by demonic birdlike entity and planet inhabitated by race of vampiric green space amoebas called Strions.
By today's standards Pluk's animation is a bit crude, but story and jokes are still holding. So if you want to introduce your young ones to sci-fi (or you like vintage cartoons) give Pluk a watch. Also, movie is in French but it was adapted to several languges including English and Croatian.

Mega massive mighty mutant Strom artwork was done for me by . I asked people in my latest poll to vote for Marvel Comic women that need more art of them as a giantess. The end result was a two-way tie between Storm and Scarlet Witch, with me casting the tie-breaking vote that made Storm the winner. As for the actual image, we have Storm making the classic Attack of the 50-foot Woman poster pose, with added X-Men related elements, such as her holding the X-Jet and cameo by Wolverine and Colossus.

Storm´s costume in this image came from the video game Marvel Super Wars. Caiman also created an alternative version of this image, with Storm dressed as Giant-Girl from Marvel Adventures: Avengers.

An alternative version of Attack of the 50-foot Storm image that did for me, with the mutant mistress of weather dressed as Giant-Girl from Marvel Adventures: Avengers. Mostly done for the fun of it, this image has nonetheless multiple inspirations, including MAA original Giant-Girl as the 50-foot Woman cover, the deep relationship between Storm and Giant-Girl in that series, and the GiantessFan commission that I won, which had an alternative universe Storm that powers of both Thor and Giant-Girl.

As a baby, Marina's parents would swim with her all around the world. One day, a storm hit, and she and her parents were separated. Marina would later wash up in a tide pool on a beach in South America, where a local mermaid tribe would find and adopt her. She is kind but rebellious, and will swim up and down the beaches around her home to prevent humans from drowning, not wanting their families to be separated as hers were.

Argon was a famous space adventurer. The explorer and the other members of the scientific expedition arrived on the planet millennia ago. The pioneer saved the crew in a desperate landing in a flourish forest, but they were forgotten by their civilization.
The sages say Argon's region' peoples were raised by the ancient God fallen from the sky.

The Furivs are big with a pompous sense of the honour, the names of their gladiators are pretty renown on the mouth of the people.

The Ailani live on the mountains and don't endure nosy people in particular the Furvis and who has a light wallet.

The Duke of Marmoro, as the previous dukes, is rich and opulent. The duchy is inhabited by errant merchants, followed by their errant personal armies and their personal creditors.

Or you are in the friends' list of the Strili, or you are on their enemies' list. They are greedy, assertive and bully. Their trades are based on jewelry, weapons and slaves.

The Gramamins are infesting and annoying sentient creatures. They scavenge and raid everything and everyone they met. Killing the Queen is advised before a new nuptial swarm establish a new hive.

The first and the last ones probably will be canon, the other probably not. I'm still searching some non-human style factions with a sense of credibility. Sentient Creatures able to survive different historical eras against o in collaboration with other sentient species...

The princedoms of Mas is a league of princes and princesses of the southern realms united by economical and military bonds, they are core members of the Merchant Trades and Union Society, with multiple interests in the rest of the world. The principalities hire mercenary armies for their business but the personal guards are Mas' people. These states became rich and influential after the invention of a powerful mosquitoes' insecticide sold and very valued in the rest of the world.

The potentates of MU (really OP, they will be nerfed or cancelled) tyrannize the Great Isle of Mu. The Mu after destroyed the ancient civilization of the Auslings inherited their technologies. They are arrogant and avid but you can earn their trust with generous gifts and presents. They could conquer the rest of the world but at the moment their leaders fight each other for the island supremacy.

The Balibali are annoying mangy monkey. These loud brats were once minions of an infamous wizard, after his death, the Balibali, without their master, gathered themselves in a coalition of warbands. Now they lives in the southern forests, sometimes their expedition can be see right around. Someone says that they are trying to revive their old master.

The Paca live up there, they built these stone roads along the mountains. You can trade beans and ropes for their pregiate cider,

Mudesa live down here or maybe down there, in any case they claim all the sea as their domain. Few in number they annoy the wayfarers with their passage's duties. They could be a menace for the defenseless fishers villages. You can fight and kick out their emissaries but no one know where they arrived. You can underestimate their menace but few centuries ago, a large number of Mudesa (a number never seen before) blocked the harbour of Riverglade for one year. After a ransom of fish and marbles they disappeared in the deeps of the sea.

Polivrakos is famous for having hosted the first attempt of democracy in the world. After few centuries of trial they returned into the more reliable old and dear monarchy. Also the kingdom is renown for having tricked their deities: their first monarchs lured the ancient gods in a banquet and trapped them in a temple above the Great Mountain. The gods have accepted their fate, they do their business aside, every week they receive supplies from Polivrakos, sometimes you can hear their disputes during the storms.

Yet in no world were the hosts of The Devil so soundly and immediately quelled as in Cyan Haven. The infernal hordes usually encountered primitive Bronze Age people, however here they found a force seasoned in combating both conventional forces and demonic beings. Cyan Haven was industrialized with a vast organized armored cavalry of bowmen mounted on horses and monster boars. These armies were enforced by mobile artillery and engineers mounted on elephants. This was a military machine that could devastate anything the enemy threw at them. Every village and city was a fortress that had been built to withstand millennia of troll attacks and winter's storms. Every settlement was equip as a shelter to endure long term siege until the cavalry could roar in raining crossbow bolts, javelins, and rockets. They could also employed fire and poison smoke, these were legacy innovations used to destroy the false gods, now repurposed against this new invasion. To suddenly encounter a disciplined organized industrialized force already experienced at fighting the infernal as well as conducting field warfare was his greatest disaster. The dragons fell from the sky, vampires were bolted and burned.

A young man tending his goats in the woodlands and pastures of the Glosson steppes, a patchwork of open lands named for the glosson mammoth boars. Here herds of oversized hares evolved from the species that survived troll predation. These hares grow very large, filling the niches of ungulates. Such as a variety of hares called the “steppe hind” which live in herds like antelope and graze in open pastures. In the forests dwell the “sleeks” or “olkis” which are black furred browsing rabbits the size of a roe deer with a generally deer like appearance apart from a more rounded head with long donkey like ears. Pikas can be found at all altitudes here. With little other completion in the way of grazers, giant snails have also evolved. These huge creatures can endure freezing temperatures and go dormant for up to ten years at a time waiting for favorable grazing conditions. Growing up to four hundred kilograms in size they rely on their thick shells to avoid predation from trolls, pigs, and bears.

Two clades of carnivores persisted through the northern extinction event. Aluropoda, an order of panda like archaic bears, have diversified into a variety of species. They have boldly patterned brown and black fur and live in mountains and mixed woodland environments. Their evolution has been shaped by predation from entelodonts and trolls splitting them into smaller burrowing and tree climbing generalist omnivores called “bhroks” and the larger grazing ground sloth like varieties known as “rkus” that use their size and claws to ward of predators. The rkus are surprisingly peaceful creatures and often roam around villages and among pastures of livestock without being a nuisance. All native species of Alurapoda are very strictly diurnal and hibernate through the winter. The local people positively associate them with daylight and summer and they are often celebrated as symbols of the growing season.

The flora of the north is marvelous in variety and uniqueness among all discovered worlds. The monocots were totally absent in this world’s primordial condition. In place of grass, open areas are covered in herbaceous plants and vines. Additionally bees and butterflies are nonexistent. Pollinating insects in Cyan Haven are a host of different varieties of jewel colored beetles and flies. This change of cast has shaped the development of flowers in this world diverging into alien and wondrously different structures. The lack of hooved grazing animals and abundance of rabbits, primates, and pigs with whom humans share many biological similarities, has caused the vegetation to produce compounds more suited to the human metabolism. The flora of Cyan Haven has proven an invaluable bounty of edible, medical, and psychoactive plant species unlike those found in any other world.
