    And now for a different form of digital artwork...
    This is a colorization I did of the Narmer Palette, an ancient Egyptian siltstone palette dating to the 31st century BC. It is commonly interpreted as recording the Upper Egyptian king Narmer’s conquest of Lower Egypt, which led to the country’s unification under the First Dynasty (it is important to note that Upper and Lower Egypt refer to the southern and northern regions of the country, respectively). The program I used to colorize this was Photoshop CS6.

    Cyborg
    A cyborg (short for "cybernetic organism") is a being with both organic and biomechatronic body parts.

    The term cyborg is not the same thing as Bionic, Biorobot, .Bi҉̦̰o͈̼̜̮tek̤̻͇:. or Android; it applies to an organism that has restored function or enhanced abilities due to the integration of some artificial component or technology that relies on some sort of feedback.

    Celestial Meridian

    Celestial Meridian is a subsidiary company of Azimuth Pharmaceuticals dedicated to corporate security.

    Celestial Meridian -unlike other mercenary groups related to Azimuth Pharmaceuticals mega-corporation- use extensively augumentations to their aFra clones -some of them, illegal-. Some of celestial Meridian aFras have such extensive augs that they can be called cyborgs, while it's rumored them to use as well androids.

    It is said, Celestial Meridian it's an unofficial test ground for Azimuth Pharmaceuticals cybernetic augs -market largely dominated so far within the CONIN (Industrial Consortium) by WK.CORP.

    One of their main base -origin of the augmentations from most of their operatives- is in Corooscopia.

    Corooscopia

    Corooscopia is the sixth planet of the Kharazi star system, an unpopulated Gas Giant. The largest satellite of the Gas Giant -that's a homonym with the planet- it's settled, being an independent, unaligned free colony..

    The colonization of the Moon of Corooscopia began at the 3387 a.a.H, after the Jauna Zeme Colonization Company bought the colonization rights from the CONMI, who had dropped their settlement interests because while a lucrative moon, rich in stornkoldio, dangers in it's extraction made it too costly to be profitable.

    The JZCC struggled to make the Moon of Corooscopia a profitable venture until the 3398 a.a.H, when they made a contract with WK.CORP. Using robots, droids and augmentations in the colonists, finally it was achieved profitability and the colony thrived.

    However, by the 3411, a prophet began among the cyborgs and heavily augmented humans a nihilistic, cybernetic religion, that quickly spread.

    With the independence of Jauna Zeme from the EUS at the 3417 a.a.H, Corooscopia followed the example. However, the government rule of the oligarchy will be quickly overthrown by the Cult of Machine in the Corooscopian Civil War (3418-3419 a.a.H).

    After this, the Cult of Machine began a theocratic government under the rule of the Eternal Prophet, becoming increasingly isolated due to it's policies regarding A.I, cybernetic life, robotic and cybernetic augmentations, banned elsewhere.

    However, key for the production of Stornkoldio in New Kharazi, it keept commercial relations with the sector, specially closer to Jaunā Zeme.

    Corooscopia it's known as a hub for illegal robotic development -banned elsewhere-, and as a field test place for development of Artificial Inteligence thanks to the support of the Eternal Prophet: several corporations, giving concessions to the Eternal Prophet, set there secret laws.

    Since the Civil War of Corooscopia, the Moon it's mainly populated by cyborgs and other cybernetic lifeforms.



    Corooscopia is a creation of [​IMG] for the Nebula of Ots. Since largelly Ots due cultural and religious reasons it's mostly against the development of cyborgs, androids and too advanced Artificial Intelligences, it seems like a good, limited place for these things in narratives: while they can be found elsehwere, it's often in a more limited way -or due the Black Market and done illegaly.-

    "Where the **** did she go?!"

    As the Hospital burn down, in the illegal laboratory deep within, the mercenaries of Zenith Horizont were to terminate all evidence of the illegal activity of Azimuth Pharmaceuticals.

    In the middle of the smoke, fire and chemical explosions, The Zenith Horizont death squad was about to execute some non-essential janitors, when suddenly the firing squad was riddled by automatic fire.

    A single woman, clad in the white leotard of Azimuth Hospital attacked them with an assault rifle. The surviving mercenaries of Zenith Horizont ducked for cover, returning fire blindly.

    "Where is she?!"

    As they were distracted fighting, the janitors escaped. But the mercenaries didn't care anymore for them.

    "Contact lost! Contact Lost!"

    "Hunt that bitch down!" ordered one of their NCOs, as she dragged one of the wounded members of the squad...

    the former Goeliathian Coalition was a role-play faction of [​IMG] in the Goeliathian Wars in the Devart Sector, based around his own setting of the Colonists -basically making a cameo-, who later had some adaptations to try to avoid the confusion of The Colonists being part of the Nebula of Ots.
