Just watched 'Captain America: Winter Soldier' last Saturday. Such an awesome action movie, best MCU movie from Avengers. Capt and especialy Bucky - Winter Soldier are so badass Cant wait to see him again in other MCU movie and kick some ass.

RWBY- Older Ruby by Sunnypoppy on DeviantArt

I had an idea of making an older version series. For Ruby,
I wanted to mix and make it long like Weiss currently has and Maria when she was young ^^
Her hair is longer on right side and shorter on left making it like a scythe and also tying her
long hair to show progress and maturity. I put every color of her teammates on her in some
part of her design. I imagined some accident may happen in some way and she will lose one eye and
have to wear eyepatch.
Also, no, her scythe doesn't involve more details.... I don't know what you're talking about...
totally not lazy to draw all those, this is how it always looked like, a bunch of fog :>>>

I was very unsure about shortening her hair, because I knew it would ruin her silhouette,
but I also always thought that cutting hair short would more be fitting for Weiss than Blake
since her sideways ponytail already represents her defiance towards her father. Maybe cutting
the hair short would represent a new chapter in character growth where she gets rid of the emotional
baggage caused by her father and literal baggage (since ya know, the hair looks heavy as hell) and
act as a last act of defiance... I didn't want her to melt into one white blob, so I added her teammates
colors throughout the outfit, just hope it is not too much blue.. Instead of the princess, I wanted her to
represent a queen more (and maybe become The Queen of Atlas and Ruby would serve as her knightess,
or maybe Ruby can become a lone hunter like Maria, but looking at modern political climate of Atlas I'm
not sure there would be ever King or Queen ruling, but it is just a thought....)

I also incorporated all her teammates colors in her outfit because ya know, team ^^
For her I imagined to join hands with Yang and maybe go on adventures together
and also help people on the way, Yang and her never looked like type of people who
would stay in a team all their lives, especially since Blake before was cult member
who traveled a lot as well as Yang. (Or ya know, she could be queen Weiss's knightess,
instead of Ruby, cuz ya know, their bond and trust is stronger than in vol 1 and 2). I liked her design from
volume 1-3 and wanted to keep that aesthetic as I feel that she lost it in newer chapters.
Bringing back the bow, but in new way was I think a good option, as it is a reference to her
first design, but this time,it is purely used as an accessory rather than a tool for hiding true self ^^

Older Yang in all her glory! I wasn't really sure how much I could change her silhouette,
my first idea was to make her hair short, but since the long hair represents power for her,
I settled for her tying her, just like she did in vol.4. It was definitely one of the hardest
designs of all the RWBY girls I came up with, and still I'm not too proud of it, I have a
feeling something else could be added. All her teammates colors are in there and her
outfit is more laid back. She would definitely be cool aunt type,and would go in
adventures with maybe Blake. I wanted to add more yellow, cuz I have a feeling
she was always theone with having the least of her representative color in her outfit.
