XII - The Hanged Man by RobertFiddler on DeviantArt
    [IMG]
    Good evening!

This is my entry for the HellsingGroup's Halloween contest:
    "Hellsing Tarot Cards " - hellsinggroup.deviantart.com/b…

My entry is Seras and Pip together as "The Hanged Man".

This card is the twelfth card in the Major Arcana deck. Eligable meanings of the card are: Sacrifice, Letting go, Surrendering, Passivity, Acceptance, Inner harmony.

The mostly belived meaning of the card is that we are stuck in trouble, but it can also mean that something forced us to remain silent, stand still. Because of thet we are forced to find inner peace, and find a new way to look at the world, ourselves and the whole meaning of our life. Other names of the card are: "The World Upside Down" or "The Sacrifice"

Because of this things I belived this card fits perfectly to Seras and Pip. Hope you like it!

If you are interested in the progress of the fanart you can check it here: fav.me/d4dp5i5

    Second Place Winner Art!
Thank you so much for everyone who voted on me!
I've just received my prize! Hope you will like it to!

    Happy Halloween to everyone!

Surprise! This year I made 2 card! Let me present Alexander Anderson as the Judgement!

This card is the twentieth card in the Major Arcana deck. Eligable meanings of the card are: Judgement, rebirth, inner calling, absolution

The Judgement card often indicates that life-changing decisions are required but unlike those associated with the logical Justice card, these decisions require a delicate blend of intuition and intellect. Judgement is sometimes about finding absolution. Through a period of self-evaluation, you will feel cleansed of your ‘sins’, wrongdoings and mistakes, and you will finally be released of your guilt and sorrow about the past. This represents a wonderful purging process and will leave you feeling refreshed and ready to take on any new challenges.

I've been looking forward to post this for a while now, and finally the time has come!

Here is my next addition the the Hellsing Tarot Set, the Tower!

This card is the sixteenth card in the Major Arcana deck. Eligable meanings of the card are: Chaos, Hard times, Revelation, Disillusion, Downfall or Ruin.

The original card symbolizes failure, ruin and catastrophe.
To others, the Tower represents the paradigms constructed by the ego, the sum total of all schema that the mind constructs to understand the universe. The Tower is struck by lightning when reality does not conform to expectation. It is also called La Maison Dieu ("The House of God") or La Foudre ("The Thunderbolt").

    Happy Halloween to everyone!

This card is the fourteenth in the Major Arcana Deck. Eligable meanings of the card are: Balance, harmony, and equilibrium.

It might seem quite ironic giving this card to Heinkel considering the situation that unfolded during the battle of London, but as the Tarot cards are a method of fortune telling, you might see this as the card was meant for Heinkel, because that's what she needs to regain. Temperance is a card often associated with a dilemma or problem, where one must learn to control it's inner turmoil, so they can either learn to make compromises and find the middle ground in an argument or situation, or find patience to heal in a physical or spiritual way.

    Happy Halloweento everyone!

As always here is the next addition the the Hellsing Tarot Set, Yumi as Justice

This card is the eleventh card in the Major Arcana deck. Eligable meanings of the card are: Justice, fairness, truth, cause and effect, law or in case of the card coming out upside down, the opposite of these.

Justice represents a conscious awareness that your decisions and actions have long-term consequences and your present and future circumstances are most likely a result of these decisions and actions. At the same time, Justice shows that your actions in the future can be changed by a lesson learned in the present situation. You cannot become honest without extending that honesty to yourself and others.

Happy late Halloween and Peaceful All Saints' Day to everyone again!

I think it will be a yearly thing for me to do a character of the Hellsing series as a Tarot card from the Major Arcane deck for Halloween!

This year's choice was Tubalcain Alhambra, also known as the Dandy man, as the Wheel of Fortune:

This card is the tenth card in the Major Arcana deck. Eligable meanings of the card are: Possibilities, Fate, Destiniy, Turning Point, Sudden Events, New Developments

The card represents the forces that can help or hinder the querant suddenly or unpredictably.
The Wheel of Fortune is all about luck and change. The wheel symbolizes completeness as well as the rise and fall of fortunes and the message that what goes around comes around. Almost every definition of this card indicates abundance, happiness, elevation, or luck; a change that just happens, and brings with it great joy or great grief, sadness, misfortune, depending on the position of the card.

IX - The Hermit by RobertFiddler on DeviantArt
    [IMG]
    Happy Halloween everyone!

This year I felt the need to continue a little tradition I started at many years ago and make a Hellsing Tarot Card!

This year I randomly choose a number of the card I didn't do yet and got 9. So here is the ninth card of the Major Arcana deck, The Hermit, starring Sir Islands, a close friend of Integra's father Sir Arthur Hellsing and Sir Penwood. And kind of a mentor figure to Integra. I felt like the Hermit is a great choice for this character as the sole survivor of the original 3 members of the Queen's roundtable.

The Hermit normally means soul-searching, introspection, inner guidance. Upside-down it can mean isolation and loneliness.

The Hermit can mean that you need to withdraw from your everyday life to gather up your strenght to go on or to find answers that you seek by finding your inner-peace in seclusion.

Upside down it's a warning that you might take too much time away in unwanted solitude without managing to find your inner-self, so you should build out your external world, to create and enviroment that gives you the peaceful atmosphere that you need to be able to relax, or perhaps your inner-piece can not be found in isolation, and you will need to find it in your connection with beloved ones.

VII - The Chariot by RobertFiddler on DeviantArt
    [IMG]
Happy late Halloween and Peaceful All Saints' Day to everyone!

I got inspired to make a new Tarot card, in sample of last year's contest work: hegedusroberto.deviantart.com/…

This card is The Captain (a.k.a Hans Günsche) as "The Chariot".

This card is the seventh card in the Major Arcana deck. Eligable meanings of the card are: Conquest, Honor, Victory, Bravery, Discipline.

It is a very interesting card in ways it can represent loyalty and faith, a conviction that will lead to victory no matter the odds. In other understandings it also shows a ruthless, personality and a desire to win at any cost. The chariot is drawn by powerful and wild creatures. These creatures are our Will. The Chariot represents the principle that the human Will functions only when the whole being is behind it. Other names of the card are "The Weapon" and "Lord Of The Triumph Of Light".

Final Fantasy Concept -- ADAM by Green-Mamba on DeviantArt
    [IMG]
Another new pic for my Final Fantasy concept. Check out my Final Fantasy Concept gallery if you want to catch up!

    www.deviantart.com/green-mamba…

This is a picture of ADAM, the absolute big bad of the whole story. I've mentioned them in (I think) every entry thus far. So now you finally get to see them!

    ----

ADAM plays a background role for much of the story, with the main characters not even aware of their presence for most of the game. They only find out about them as Cid gains more of her memories back and they find more and more of the lost Magicite, learning more about ADAM's destruction of planet Aeon. They come to realize that Chaos, the biomechanical being who had taken over half of Haven, was actually the first step in ADAM's attack on their home world.

For the most part the motives and reasoning for ADAM are left unclear, it simply *is*. Like a force of nature, ADAM destroys planets whose inhabitants have weakened their mothercrystals through callous disregard for the welfare of their world (i.e., ADAM is a thinly veiled climate change metaphor). ADAM seems to have some sort of sense that allows it to seek out these weakened mothercrystals. Unable to breach the shields that protect mothercrystals on its own, ADAM resorts to tactics like unleashing the sentient virus Chaos to goad the people of the planet into weakening it themselves.

What is ADAM, divine punishment? Or is it just a barbarous monster? The Devas saw ADAM before it turned its sights on Haven and sealed themselves and their creations, the monsters, away. The world of Aeon was destroyed by ADAM, and it implanted Chaos into the systems of the High Queen Asura as it fled the doomed planet. Now, it seeks out Haven as Chaos turns the people against themselves.

ADAM takes the form of an asteroid sized egg or cocoon of sorts. Near the end of the story when Chaos cracks open the Forbidden Lands around Mother's barrier beneath what used to be the bustling city of Eureka, ADAM crashes into Haven nearby and slowly takes in all genetic information stored on the world in order to craft a form perfect for snuffing it out. This "cocoon" mode is basically the setting of the final dungeon, the Heart of ADAM. While the party makes their way through this, by the end of it ADAM finishes crafting its new form, and from this cocoon sprouts what I've drawn here--ADAM Prime, the perfect form of Haven's destruction.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, there is no scale measurement, but ADAM Prime here? They are the size of a mountain. The sword it wields is several *miles* long.

So basically the party is trapped inside ADAM Prime as he moves to pierce Mother's shield with his blade and cleave the mothercrystal apart. I'm unsure of how this goes, but the party tries to stop ADAM by destroying their heart... but they end up being too late. The being is simply too powerful to stop, and ADAM fatally wounds Mother, annihilating the planet of Haven.

But in a final gambit, the power of Phoenix inside Oros manages to hold the collective souls of every living being on Haven, which is basically what composes Mother's true form, together in a sort of "cosmic egg," and this, combined with the power of the Magicite that holds the last souls of Aeon, lets them combine the two collective wholes of their planets together. This cosmic egg envelopes ADAM entirely, bringing the world ender to their scale.

Now confronted by the combined might of two worlds, ADAM recognizes them as a collective equal and actually speaks to them. ADAM reveals that they are the collective might of a system of their own, and that they are essentially the natural evolution of mothercrystals--the people on inhabited planets eventually become so powerful that they form collective beings that become unto gods. ADAM was the first collective being, and they went to war with all of the other collectives in the early universe. In the end, only ADAM remained. Believing their might made right, ADAM made it their goal to snuff out any other mothercrystal it could find.

(Essentially, the story has come full circle--the world of Haven was overrun with capitalists who believed in might making right--they were right because they were in power, and they were in power because they were right. And here comes ADAM, the ultimate darwinistic monstrosity that has taken this belief to the utter extreme who would love nothing more than to grind these so called powerful men under its heel.)

So basically the party fights ADAM inside this cosmic egg at the end of the world to determine the fate of the people of Haven. Basically... it's the final boss! Through whatever cosmic trickery the party is the same size as ADAM in this fight, either they're much bigger in the cosmic egg due to the combined powers of Haven and Aeon or the combined powers bring ADAM down to their level. One of the two.

And the party wins, destroying ADAM for good. But Haven is still destroyed, and utilizing the powers of Pheonix's cosmic egg, Jannath awakens to her true form as Eden, a planet sized garden of new beginnings, and Oros sacrifices the last of the Phoenix power keeping himself alive to restore the people of Haven onto their new home of Eden. The end.

    ----

The end of a Final Fantasy has to have some crazy weird ****, so I think I managed. Basically, Haven is destroyed, but the people are saved and are given a new chance of life on Eden.

ADAM is intended to look divine, it took me a while to make something that looked foreboding but not inherently wicked. I had originally intended to include like some mountains and clouds for scale but decided to just draw ADAM. Remember, they're absolutely colossal in size.

And while I did just go over the ending in great detail I still have a lot more of this Final Fantasy concept to show you all so look forward to more of this project in the future.
