Hello, hello! Hope everyone's staying warm this January. This turned into a bit of a moody illustration - adding rain to a piece will do that, I guess!

One of the themes I seem to revisit a lot with Esk pieces is just that of Esk being among the general human populace, unseen. Zeal has a hard time with this reality now and then; born as an animal who was most definitely not an apex predator, she's fascinated by people and their ability to reshape the Earth in such a significant way, and their seeming immunity to predators and the elements alike, and wishes she could better understand them. (It's one of the things that drew her to the developed biome and allowed her to come to terms with being an Esk, after all.)

For now, she's content to travel from city to city across the globe. Here she is in a cramped New York apartment, seeing everything humans can see - and much of what they can't.

I. Regardless of a Tyrian's wings and their ability to fly, it is important they know how to navigate on ground level as well. Depict your Tyrian making their journey on foot, wings bound.
II. The Reosean sets out on a hunt - if they bring a prey back, their trial is considered passed. Draw your Reosean either stalking, chasing or taking down a prey item from the Prey List. (Rhinoceros.)
III. Your Tyrian's companion is scouting ground level, and have stumbled upon a large predator. They call for help and your Tyrian is the first to notice - depict them defending said companion using the skills they’ve gained thus far.
