Well I'm not as sick of the DC "Survivor" as I am of "Independent Women" but I'm not a huge R & B (or whatever you call them) fan. Give me Dave Matthews Band or Ben Folds Five or Everclear any day and I'll be a happy camper. If you really wanna make me happy, you could leave Ewan McGregor on my doorstep, but that's a hole 'nother can of beans altogether. mmmmm Velvet Underground....

Well due to an overwhelming response I've decided to add four characters so there's more left to choose from and to (hopefully) be able to accomodate everyone who wants to play. Fear not though, no more "main" characters will be added EVER. If you've already chosen a character, but see one added that you just have to have, message me and I'll probably let you switch.

I'm also going to tell people which characters are still available, so I don't have to send people anymore "Sorry, your picks are all taken" e-mails. Here's the four added characters:

BUBO: A guard creature that unwittingly foiled Ree-Yees plans to kill Jabba when it ate a crucial component to a thermal detonator. A spy and assassin few suspected of actually being intellegent. After Jabba's death, the Bo'marr monks removed his brain from his body, allowing him to contemplate the mysteries of the universe unfettered by his body.

POTE SNITKIN: Skrilling helmsman for Jabba who piloted one of Jabba's skiffs on a fateful occasion. Supplied Jabba's thugs with weapons when he was Hermi Odle's predecessor.

RYSTALL: Red haired and spotted back up singer seen in RotJ:SE. She was raised by Ortolans and grew up on the streets of Coruscant. She was rescued from the Black Sun organization by Lando Calrissian.

SAELT-MARAE: Also known as Yak Face (I say he looks like a camel), he's an alien artifact trader and associate of the B'omarr monks. No one knows his true motivations for being in Jabba's court.

I've got a question. In what medium do we see Lando say Rystall? I know I've read that, but I can't recall hearing where that comes from....

Since the SW Encyclopedia didn't have an entry on Rystall, I went to the lore of her card in the SWCCG. That's where I got the Lando/Rystall connection. Don't know where they got it from, or if they just made it up themselves (their lore is considered official EU since its approved by Lucasfilm).

 

The three dancers (and the rest of the band) are named in the Behind the Magic CD-ROM. I don't know if that information came from another source. The other 2 backup singers are Lyn Me and Greeta. Lyn Me is my favorite of the three.

Actually, I think Lucasfilm came up with the names for the SE rerelease. The bios I don't know about though.

 

Right Crummy. I knew that was on her CCG card, I just wondered if it originated there. I am under the opinion that it does, but there is the possibilty I am wrong.

Decipher frequently ends up being the one who names and gives small bios to backround characters, so I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised to find out that they originated Rystall's backstory.

 

I swear I didn't decide to post this message just to bump this thread up to the top. I have something important to say in this message, I really do. Ummm, I really like Star Wars. I bet not many people knew that.
