Full Series Jedi Survivors (spoilers)

Oh right I forgot. Out of every original EU character the only one’s Lucas liked was Vos and Aayla. I think he also like Talon but maybe he just had a thing for Twi’lek.

I wonder if we will see Cal now, it certainly looks like we might or at least someone connected to him. I mean Kenobi is broken but starting to believe again. If he gets taken to a hideout where he sees other Jedi and they all help each other without them all being killed, this could be a way for them to build hope knowing such a prominent Jedi Master is out there still and he could build hope knowing the fight isn't over at all. It would not even necessarily need to be a long scene and would obviously set up some other shows / comics / storylines for the future.

 

The new fallen order game is also set at basically the same time as Kenobi. That’s something.

 

Between The Jedi Fallen Order/Survivor, Kenobi, comics, books, Rebels, etc. it would be really cool after recent name drops and events if they were setting up a Jedi Dark Times series even if only limited. There’s enough survivors and the fact they’re trying to save Force sensitive children from the Empire’s unknown purpose is story enough right there.

I would love to see more of Vos

 

I don't know that I need to see any additional Jedi from this point on, but I do really dig the implied Underground Railroad idea.

 

I would love it if Cal was working for this group

 

I bet folks like the Ersos and Bridgers might be with them considering they're anti-Empire and have hidey holes where they could hide Imperial fugitives.

 

I am pretty sure the Ersos have already been captured by this point

 

And even if they weren't I would think they would not be part of it as it could expose them.

Either way I don’t expect it to be a lot of people

 

Jedi survivors are quite lucky to have survived 10 years into the dark times, but for those not named Obiwan, Yoda and Ashoka, the next 9 years will either be them dying from Vader/Inquisitors or giving up jedihood (if they haven’t already), meaning even if some are still alive during ANH, they won’t fight against the Sith/Empire.

 

We already know of at least one where that happened

 

I haven't seen the third episode yet but do you think there might be a showdown with several Jedi?

I wouldn't be surprised if it is a little like Malachor where there will be several Jedi, likely Vos included, keeping the inquisitors occupied while Obi-wan and Vader go at it.

 

I doubt it was a throw away Vos was mentioned. He's going to pop up in Kenobi, he worked with Kenobi to capture Bane in TCW. Cody joked about his reputation. Will probably be in another animated show 10 years prior before long which may feature part of the background story judging from the teaser shot at the end of season 1. The mention of Force Sensative kids hunted by the Empire may be a throughline between every series from Children of the Force til we get to Grogu in The Mandolorian.

 

Vos may also appear in The Bad Batch since he was on Kashyyyk during order 66, or may have been at least. He was also mentioned to be active on Saleucami and Boz Pity so not entirely sure if current canon still sends him to Kashyyyk to reinforce Luminara and Yoda. I wonder at which point Luminara was killed by GI. That has already happened I think.

 

I really hope we see the surviving band of Jedi next episode as a way to give hope back to Kenobi, even if some of them have to die.

 

Corran Horn, Ismaren, and every other Jedi or force sensitive from the post ROTJ EU canon will be there, then Reva will stab them all to death and burn their bodies while also holding the severed head of the Grand Inquisitor, laughing as “it’s a small world after all” plays in the background.

In all seriousness, I’d be legitimately surprised if Vos shows up here and no one managed to leak that. Once upon a time I thought Kumail Nanjiani was Vos.
