This Index will be updated daily with new fanfiction stories from this board, and at the end of the month all of these stories will be combined to make a master list, along with fics from both The Saga and Beyond the Saga Boards. Savvy?

EU - Expanded Universe (all of the books)
JA - The Jedi Apprentice books about Obi-Wan's youth before TPM
pre-TPM - takes place before the movies
AU - alternate universe
OC - original (author-originated) characters
GFFA - Galaxy Far, Far Away
H/C - hurt/comfort
vignette - a one-post story, especially a single scene
humor - lots of silliness
angst - anguish, torment, fear, anxiety
crossover or x-over - mixing Star Wars with another movie, tv series or book
round robin or RR - multi-author story inviting more people to join in (also called an add-on)
song fic - a story based on the lyrics of a song

Note: inspired by my 15-year anniversary in the volunteer firedept. And my first incident was saving a horse and the second ?pancakes? in a home for the elderly made by their cook who is now a firechief and also celebrating his 15 years.
Note 2: one of the pictures in ?the making of The Phantom Menace? has Obi-Wan with a red bead at the end of his padawan-braid.
And this will be an illustrated story with pictures by me.

Notes: For Essential OC Challenge. There were two topic choices. I chose the second, but now the story is going to deal with both.
The topics were
1)WAR! What is it Good For?
One thing about wars is that they change someone who goes through them. Take an OC, and put them through one of the many known galactic conflicts or even one that you've invented yourself and show how their first experiences with war changes them.
and
2) The Student is Now the Teacher
Let's learn a lesson. Your character will expectedly or unexpectedly become a beacon of knowledge for an eager student or just a random person. The key is to have someone learn something from your character, whether it be a skill, an ethic or something more.
A word of warning: Upon finishing the first post you're going to be wondering how I'm even going to do the second one. But that was where everything in my head and if you read on you'll see it later.

Author's Notes: I went with female Light Side Exile and male Light Side Revan in this fic, because that's canon. And I just went ahead and gave the Exile the name I used on my last play-through, for the sake of convenience. Also, I assumed a great deal of completion on the part of the player.
