    Stuck

Eleanor did not have time to react before she felt blind-hot pain from the lightening. It lasted only a moment, before it was taken away and she opened her eyes to see Vergere standing there in the way of Snoke's force lightening. Eleanor froze, she was surprised; shocked. Why would she do something like that, for her?

She didn't have much time to reach however before Vergere turned to face her, spoke to her. Eleanor had little chance to respond before a powerful force push threw her and Whistler through a wall and into the swamp. Eleanor quickly found herself bruised, and covered in mud as she started to sink, before she heard Whistler screech for help."Whistler!" Eleanor tried to move through the mud, and lifted her hand to lift him onto a dry part of the bog with the force. Everything hurt, but she was going to save Whistler before she saved herself.

Eleanor breathed hard as she placed Whistler gently on the ground and them reached for the edge of the bog, missing it and sinking a little deeper into the mud. She tried again, and missed; grabbing onto a low hanging branch nearby. "Whistler! Get help." Eleanor kicked harder in the mud, trying to pull herself forward. "I'm stuck!"

    IC: Ashban
    Skirmish at Exocron

To say that a great pang of surprise and disappointment surged through him at seeing the Sun Guard so easily dispatched would be a tremendous understatement. Ashban could not afford any distractions and forced himself to remain focused, even as he realized a moment later, that the enemy was simply removing their strongest combatant from the field.

That, he had to grudgingly admit, was actually an ideal tactical move.

He just wasn’t expecting it so soon. Sadly, the male ‘jedi’ fared no better.

The blind force user’s blood-orange lightsaber flared to life, even as the players began to move upon the filed of combat. But he understood a deeper layer was also at play.

Master Sebatyne did immerse herself in the spirit of combat, but after seeing what had befallen Master Colcha, Ashban well understood his chosen role.

Being already imbued with force power, Ashban fell into a ‘center of being’ stance. He had to buy some time so Master Colcha and the dispatched Jedi could rejoin the fray. The best way to do that was to be ‘formless’ when facing the two opponents that now fell on him.

Ashban would be both water and air, he would evade, parry and deflect, but never block. He would seem to leap, flip, flee, and roll, yet remain just within range. He would be both beckoning and rejecting, teasing and denying. He need not 'best' them at this very moment, just tire them out and keep them focused on him. He would be nothing more than a ‘target’, for the force sustained him.

It was also the best way to keep the Chagrian from reaching the ‘other’.

    Skirmish at Exocron

Humiliated, Leonias lay on the ground as he convulsed in pain. He braced himself as he brought himself to a kneel, and strained to control his breathing and bring it to a steady rhythm. It took him a few long minutes to get there, but eventually he was able to isolate himself from his surroundings as he slipped into a meditative stance. He knew what he had been afflicted with. He knew exactly how weak he was against it. But he also knew a trick or two.

Focusing on his humiliation, Leonias used it to center himself. He focused on the realization that his existence was meaningless compared to the power of the Force, and the Equilibrium he swore to protect. He called upon the Force to channel that very essence of humility into his presence. Gradually, his presence in the Force shrunk, until he could not be felt through the Force at all. To the Force Sensitives around him, it would feel as if he had died from the attack sent at him by Wyyrlok.

But then he rose to his feet, a scowl on his face as silver eyes turned their gaze to one of the Knights of Ren attacking Ashban. He readied both of his saber pikes and ignited them, red and gold blades coming to life with a snap-hiss. He then raised the black weapon in his right hand, and in one swift motion, he sent an arc of electrical force energy arcing out towards the Knight of Ren, and then sent the weapon hurtling towards him like a javelin, the humming of the crimson blade turning into screaming as it cut through the air at a high speed.

Ability used is Art of the Small. I decided that I'd change how I wrote Leonias using it, so that I wouldn't mention the name of the ability, the same as how I write other Force powers.

The two Knights of Ren were fighting to the very end against Ashban, but he was what he said; water and air and impossible to strike. His foes grew angrier and angrier, more and more tired, and their swings more and more sloppy. Conversely, Saba was dominating her remaining two opponents with strong attacks, tail swings, and generally fighting like a Barabel. One Knight died at the hands of Leonias, caught out with such focus upon the Miraluka.

But Wyyrlok paid it no heed as he saw Eleanor calling out.

    She was sinking.

Whistler rushed forward towards him, electrical arc ready, and Wyyrlok waved a hand, sending the droid tumbling over the hull of the Skate. The astromech righted himself and rushed up the ramp, blatting.

The Chagrian looked back at the three Jedi fighting his three Knights. That would not do. His hand raised again and a fork of lightning slammed into the Barabel, sending her to the ground, smoking. Much better. Three Knights against two Jedi, and he'd taken down the Jedi Master.

He turned back to Eleanor and then, and only then, did he yank her free of the swamp. She was too precious to fire a bolt of lightning into. The project had to be taken intact, and alive. However, he could choke her. He squeezed with his fist. An unconscious Eleanor would be a more easily transported one.

He turned to head back to his ship with her in tow.

    Wyyrlok didn't expect any problems.

Eleanor could sense someone approaching, and felt a little relieved until Whistler screeched and tumbled over. What the force is going on? She startled a bit until she was forced out of the swamp and mud, and then a tightening hand on her throat began to close. It wasn't long before she lost consciousness. Eleanor could only hope someone would come to her rescue in time.

With a flick of his hands, he removed any excess mud and detritus from Eleanor, and drew her close.

She was unconscious, and the Sith Knights were keeping busy Saba, Ashban and Leonias by virtue of dying, which suited him fine.

There were plenty of One Sith left, after all.

He turned to go, carrying the unconscious woman with him.

There was a surge in the Force, of course, as Vergere's mind reached out hard for Eleanor.

You need to wake up, now!

Wyyrlok snorted, pressing upon her mind back.

No, you don't. You are scared, and I am strong. You are nothing, and I am power. You are not even a Jedi, and I am Sith Lord.

    I am the Voice.

    I speak for my Master.

You will listen, and remain silent.

It was time for a finale.

    Time to end this.

Following through with the kill, Leonias lunged forwards and called the saber pike back to his hands, at a speed so quickly that viscera trailed behind, escaping the wound before the blade could cauterize it. Catching the blade, Leonias disengaged both pikes and holstered them on his back, then slipped into a veil of the Force as he bent the light around him so that he was concealed from view. In conjunction with his minimized Force presence, he had now become increasingly difficult to track down, making his next moves all that more deadly.

Readying the Solar Ionization Rifle strapped to his chest, he aimed down the sights, targeting one of the Knights that was fighting the Jedi, Saba Sebatyne. He waited for the right moment, when they moved in just the right position to get a clear shot in, and then when the moment did come, he channeled the Force once more. To Leonias, the world around him had suddenly become a lot slower, and he used this to his advantage as in what felt like a minute but was actually a second and he focused his rifle on the helmet of the Knight and pressed down on the trigger, letting loose a molten projectile of solar ionization. It would have appeared as if a very small solar flare had suddenly burst out towards the Knight out of nowhere, hurtling towards the ambushed warrior at a high velocity.

    Exocron Wastes

As he fought, Ashban understood that his trust was being tested. Not in his skills, but in the outcome of the skirmish. They had travelled far, fought hard, and were all finally able to join in the fight as Keepers of Light. All they had experienced and achieved, just to lose it in this moment?

Their strongest was incapacitated first, then those who remained were kept busy, while the flame was stolen. It was a ridiculously basic, yet effective tactic being employed. Despite all that he felt he could do, he needed to buy time and hope. These knights were merely sacrificial pawns in the greater scheme of things.

The moment Ashban sensed the Sun Guard return to full consciousness, he unleashed a vicious whirling attack, one so sudden and lethal, it certainly caught his opponents by surprise, ending them just as quickly.

Despite the momentary relief, Ashban knew he could not allow himself to assume victory until after it was achieved, not a moment before. Thus, even as he explosively sped forth by application of Force Speed, he sensed the Sun Guard slip from his awareness, almost like a door closing.

Ashban’s surroundings blurred as he dashed towards his new target. The flame stealer: Darth Wyyrlok.

The darksider could not be allowed to escape with Eleanor under any circumstance.

Truly, It was no exaggeration thinking, that the future depended on this.

Eleanor had been surrounded by darkness, had not understood what was happening until she heard Vergere in her mind, asking her to wake up. What do I need to wake up from? What's going on? She thought, but it felt very cold and very dark. Eleanor just wanted to escape back to the warmth and light, away from whoever was holding her in their arms. She heard the Sith next, and tried to fight back.

No. I am a Jedi. I will always be a Jedi.

She told him, trying to force herself to wake up. You won't take me anywhere Sith. Let me go!

His Sith Knights fell like the pawns they were - but the solar rifle had been a surprise, allowing Saba to cleave the last Knight, who was just as startled, before he could rush Ashban. The Chagrian released his grip of Eleanor as she woke, and in a gesture he struck at all three Force users with a blaze of power -

Within Ashban a fear was unlocked, of him drawing his blade and slaying a Togruta in cold blood -

Within Leonias was the condemnation of Kev-Mas for his failures and deaths he had caused -

With Saba would rise up the pain and agony of the destruction of Barab I, and the loss of two of her children on Myrkr, of her private penance for killing her fellow Jedi Kenth Hamner -

They would all feel his power, and Eleanor wouldn't have chance to regroup before they were crushed by it, Wyyrlok igniting a crimson blade and stepping forward to decapitate Leonias -

    - Even as Whistler tweetled something from within the ship.

Wyyrlok frowned and looked at the inert Pulsar Skate, working through what droidspeak was being said -

He realised he had shouted Get down!

The weapons of the Skate traversed and opened fire, and Wyyrlok dove into the undergrowth. He was under fire, and fled and spun and twisted, deflecting errant bolts and drawing deep on the Force to survive the attack. He was in full retreat, rushing into the undergrowth even as Whistler screamed out at them.

First Order ships arriving in orbit!

    They had to go!

During their fighting, he had managed to seal the cockpit and divert control of the ship to an auxiliary port, so the fact that Aryan Graul had hurtled through the transparisteel and vanished into the undergrowth was irrelevant. They'd crash landed, yes, but the Baudo-class was versatile and the Pulsar Skate was especially so, having been tricked out by Mirax Terrik over the years.

The green astromech called them to the Skate as he prepped engines, and Saba levitated Eleanor, Ashban and Leonias to their feet -

    "Come, we muzt gooo -"

A brutal darkness slammed into the Force, expressing utter power and dominance.

    Kylo Ren was here.

That was the Finalizer in orbit, the flagship of the enemy fleet, and personal command vessel of General Hux. A single Resurgent-class was more than enough for the sixteen armed freighters that made up Exocron's defences - and another seven appeared from hyperspace.

There was a sense of curiosity, and alarm, permeating the Force; alien minds concerned as to their new neighbours.

    Wyyrlok vanished into the Force.

There wasn't time to track down Aryan, or Vincent, or Osiran - nor even Vergere.

They had to get into the air and go now, even as they each struggled with personal pains, and Eleanor with the revelations that she was some kind of genetic experiment... an intention to complete control of a droid armada that had once served an Eternal Empire.

    They had to go.

After all, they also had one last Jedi Master to track down, on Korriban, according to their list; Jaina Solo Fel.

Eleanor felt herself get dropped roughly to the ground as as he turned to fight, and groaned in pain. She felt sore all over, and her heart was beating hard in her chest from worry. She was lucky to be alive at this point, Eleanor realised. She tried to get up but couldn't, and she lay there as she heard the fighting around her. Slipping in and out of consciousnesses. Eleanor heard the Pulsar Skate startup, and heard the shots.

That's a good droid Whistler. She thought, sensing her friend in the force. She felt herself being lifted up by the force soon after, and was on her way back to the ship. Eleanor was glad, because she didn't have much energy to move.

    Leonias Colcha
    Exocron Wastes

Another mental attack from Wyyrlok, intended to wear down Leonias' mental faculties and drive him mad. Unfortunately for the Sith Lord however, he focused on a subject that didn't really seem to bother the Supreme Sun Guardian. Leonias wasn't Kev-Mas. The mistakes of his father, many of which he could argue were actually the mistakes of Palpatine instead due to the mind control, were not his mistakes. His father raised him with the lessons he learned from his mistakes, so that he would become even greater. Wyyrlok just reminded him of that, and what was intended to bring him down backfired.

Shrugging it off with a little effort, he began to mouth off a reply.

    "I'm not Ke--"

He was then rather rudely interrupted by the Force warning him of impending danger. Just in the nick of time, he tucked and rolled away to cover as the Pulsar Skate spat out angry bolts of laser fire at the Sith Lord, which would have threatened to hit Leonias by proxy if he hadn't made his abrupt maneuver.

"Kriffing sithspit!" he spat out in frustration, "Watch your fire!"

Then suddenly he felt himself getting pulled with the Force, as he could hear the source of said manipulation beckoning the group back to the ship.

    "Come, we muzt gooo -"

Finally landing inside the Skate, Leonias felt the imposing presence in the Force arrive. It hit suddenly and abruptly. Without warning, and with a vengeance. It was suffocating, yet isolated. Cold, yet burning with fury. It felt very chaotic. Uncentered. Unfocused. Just pure, raw power, uncontained and pouring out its destruction in any which way it could sink its dark tendrils into.

A presence he hadn't felt since Chandrila. Kylo Ren.

Knowing that, Leonias sprung into action immediately, and went to offer his assistance with getting the ship in the air. He wanted to get away from this place as soon as possible, if only because he couldn't meditate with all that... corrupted Skywalker blood stinking up the place.

    In pursuit

The Finalizer erupted in-system at the edge of the Exocron system, having both pursued them from Chandrila, and tangled with more of the mysterious droid ships.

His staff had told him they were reminiscent of ancient Eternal Fleet designs, but Kylo Ren didn't care. He just wanted to kill Eleanor.

    He needed to.

In his mind, killing her would justify his actions.

The Jedi, the Sith - he had to kill the past.

    Break the cycle.

The First Order; the Supreme Leader - it was the future, cut from the corpse of the Galactic Empire, detached from the legacies of the Jedi and Sith.

    It would become something new.

    He had decided.

The others? He would simply kill them for existing.

Jedi, ex or otherwise, the Force was his now.

The orange blade cleaved down like a bolt of lightning, full of certainty, conviction and all the assurance of a fateful strike. Ashban inhabited the moment as he struckdown his opponent, who’d justly deserved his end, for he had been a Sith Knight and agent of darkness most foul.

Still grasped in his hands, Ashban’s blade hummed, even as a pulse in the force surged.

In that instance, Ashban’s senses swam disorienting him in a most fundamental way, to the point he knew not where or when he was. To his horror, he’d also felt a great deal of uncertainty surrounding the being he had just slain, for he no longer resembled a Sith Knight. There was no dark aura suffusing the form, no linger stench of evil. Ashban shook his head in order to refocus and regain his place in the reality he should be perceiving, but alas, the form of the slain Togruta remain.

“No, I wouldn’t….I couldn’t…..” Ashban found himself saying, his voice shaking, as he slowly regarded his now tremulous hand. This wasn’t right.

Try as he might, he was unable to holdback the crashing wave of guilt that suddenly overtook him. He felt it even before he even saw it, the pulsing shift in the chroma of his aura.

With a flick, he shut-off his weapon and attempted to reign-in his turbulent feelings. All his failures, all his short-comings, was he still worthy to be even called a Jedi? Could he call himself a peace keeper or protector? War, to his surprise, had changed him more than he had anticipated- more than he’d dare admit.

The guilt was not for having killed, but for….for ….secretly…enjoying the very act.

“No, focus on the Light. Focus!”

As before, the blind man took a deep centering breath and called to himself images that would dispel darkness, which ultimately culminated in seeing ‘her’ face.

“Of course we are safe here Luke, Ashban is here to protect us…”

Ashban is here to protect us….

Ashban is here to protect us….

The blind man groaned deeply as he fell down to his knees next to the slain Togruta.

“What have I done…?” he wailed in anguish. He had not been able to protect anyone. They are all…gone.

    Luke. Mara. Everyone.

A sob escaped his lips as he was on the verge of an unexpected breakdown. These episodes, though infrequent, did surface at the most inopportune of times.

Then quite suddenly, he was back in the jungle wastes again, the force blaring a warning within him. The potent flash of urgency tore the deep despondency asunder, allowing the blind man to react on pure force instinct. Ashban’s lightsaber flared to life and wove a deflecting lightsaber barrier, perfectly redirecting fire from the Pulsar Skate.

It took a heartbeat for reality to set back in, to understand that he’d been manipulated and nearly killed in the process, but he lived - and so did the other force users. the Light had not been stolen!

A secret joy entered the blind man, only to be eclipsed by the sensation of a dark presence. Despite the anger that came through, the twisted sense of self, Ashban could barely recognize him, though just enough. He could not hide behind the pseudonym of Kylo Ren.

He had arrived and with him, The First Order.

If they all remained on planet, things would not turn out well for them.

    “Come, we must gooo-“

    Ashban couldn’t agree more.

This time, the blind man looked around, making sure that no one would be left behind, before he too made haste in order to flee. This was not an encounter they could win, that much he knew , however, the Light was still with them, therefore Hope was still attainable and with Hope, perhaps a Lasting Peace could probably follow.

Only then, would he allow himself to finally rest.

They left behind Vincent, Osiran, Vergere, and Aryan.

    They had no choice.

Saba worked the guns, keeping TIEs off them, but the Finalizer arrived too.

She didn't pay attention to Leonias, Eleanor and Ashban for the moment - but she could sense their scars ran deep.

Whistler helped Eleanor to the medbay, but the entire ship was a mess - shelves were upended, closets had spilled their contents across the floor, drawers were askance. The cockpit was vacuum sealed, and he was running the ship from the lounge area, half a dozen cables plugged into a dejarik board. He was pretty proud of it, but they didn't have much else to be proud of.

They made it into hyperspace, jumped again, and again, and again...

The Force continued to promise danger until the final jump into deep, deep, deep space.

The astromech sighed with relief, and then tootled at them.

    They'd made it?

Saba left the makeshift gunnery platform, working a console in the hold, and then padded around the ship to bring them together.

"Muzh to tell me, we thinkz you have."

The Jedi Master pulled up a chair with a claw, and turned it to sit on back-to-front - her tail was an impediment for human-style chairs.

    "Go on."

He drew his hood up to conceal his expression; his self-loathing.

Someone had hid something from him.

Him, the Supreme Leader of the galaxy.

He could sense Snoke, but Snoke was dead.

    "Dead!" He snapped.

    "Oh is he?"

As there are no known Chiss with red hairs and yellow eyes, it is suspected that she may be of Anzat ancestry. If true, it is unknown by how many generations, some historians claim that she might have been the spawn of Volfe Karkko when he was freed from his stasis on Kiffex by Aalya Secura.

The abductions of denizens support this during his consolidation of power, one of which is known to have been a female Chiss merchant. However, it is unknown how she might've survived during this encounter as afterward; the Galatic census records her as being deceased despite a lack of a corpse ever being found.
Once Sorah was born in 29 BBY, she was sold to the custody of the Seyugi Dervishes, a force-based organization that specializes in assassination for monetary gain. Once Sorah was taken into this group, the elders found that she had immense potential and could be one of the best assassins this organization ever had.

As a result, the elders augmented her with sensory robotics and a laser eye along with extraordinarily harsher tasks than they would give to their other recruits as few as they may be.

Sorah continued on this path of murder and greed for a very long time as it was the only thing she's ever known. However, as time went on, the organization was eventually discovered and contacted by the First Order.

After lengthy discussions, the Seyugi Dervishes were sent along with the Knights of Ren to find and kill all the Jedi, something the Seyugi always dreamed of being a part of.

The initiative was successful; the Jedi order had been purged and Sorah managed to kill many Jedi, the most notable of which were Jaden Korr, Rathalron, Kam Solusar, and Tiene Solusar.

Sorah took many prizes from these conquests; lightsabers, books, and Holocrons.

However, once the purge was complete, the First order began to purge the Seyugi. After abandoning her home and narrowly surviving the purge, Sorah now travels the galaxy, and using the books and Holocrons she obtained, Sorah travels the galaxy; hunting artifacts, knowledge, anything that'll help her take down the First Order.

    Pulsar Skate

Eleanor was still fading in and out, stumbling as Whistler led her to the med bay. She wanted to sleep. To get her injuries tended to. Eleanor got a glance or two of the state the Pulsar Skate was in, but didn't want to think about it now.

Instead she placed a hand on Whistler's head as Saba gathered everyone around, and asked them to talk about what happened. She hesitated, and swallowed hard. Eleanor didn't want to talk about it, but she knew she had to.

"I...Snoke made Clones of me. I didn't know why i had two weeks of my life missing, but he was experimenting on me. Vergere was the one who saved my life." Eleanor paused. "He also told me I was descended from the Outlander's?" Eleanor sounded confused. "It's hard to process. I'm sorry."

He had remained silent, not trusting himself to speak or the report of his senses. The blind man needed to be sure that his mind had not finally snapped completely. Jedi Master Saba worked the laser turrets with a fury he found comforting, even as the Skate jumped time and time again, seeking a measure of safety, until the blaring in the force had subsided to a level they could manage, though danger still lurked for them all.

What exactly had happened, he could not say, only that in the process, they had lost Vergere, Aryan, the younger Sun Guard, Vincent and possibly the Vong, which he could not sense in the first place.

These were significant losses. Though he did not feel them die, Ashban knew full well there were fates worse than death.

Jedi Master Saba was the first to speak after they had stopped to catch their collective breaths. She wished to debrief, or at least it sounded that way.

The elder Sun Guard, Leonias was the first to respond, not seeming troubled whatsoever by their position or current events, particularly having lost his traveling companion. Ashban found the man’s collectedness truly enviable.

Curiously, he had nothing to share other than overstate the obvious.

Eleanor however, had a most intriguing revelation to share. She believed that Snoke had made clones of her.

Ashban mind immediately jumped to his own long imprisonment and torture at the hands of unknown agents. Had he been cloned as well? His bodily scars alone revealed that he had been experimented on, down to his missing eyes. Was he a clone himself? He actually could not answer that question with a great deal of certainty at the moment- Still, he could not afford to focus on that at the moment, less he trigger the ‘other’.

But that was not the only interesting thing Eleanor had revealed.

“Who or what is the Outlander?” Ashban inquired in all honesty.

Perhaps it was best to focus on a Eleanor for the moment, for she seemed to be the focus of their troubles, though in the back of his mind, he did wonder if anyone would mention their missing companions.

En route to Korriban, aboard the Skate, aft section

With the cockpit sealed, Whistler was present remotely controlling the yacht from the lounge access. So in response to the question he turned and projected a light.

It was a recording by Master Tionne Solusar, the Jedi librarian. Saba stiffened. As one of the teaching staff, she and her husband had died after Kylo Ren slew the Jedi Academy. Clearly Whistler had been digging into the Archives, a copy of which he held as the former droid of Jedi Master Corran Horn, another missing Council Master that was feared dead.

The image answered Ashban’s question. “The Outlanders were a group of powerful Force users and warriors that opposed the Sith Emperor Tenebrae in his various forms. At their most influential, they controlled the Eternal Fleet, an armada of ancient droid sentiments that had originally been used by Tenebrae in the guise of Emperor Valkorion to dominate the galaxy. The Outlanders used these ships to enforce a peace between the Republic and then-Sith Empire. Sources differ on whether this was peacekeeping or oppression, but after a year of uprisings sponsored by a coalition of Jedi and Sith, the Eternal Fleet was destroyed by a creation of the originators of the droids names Zildrog. Though Zildrog and the organisation dedicated to the destruction of the Outlander and Eternal Alliance were undone, the Outlander continued to be crucial to the following Third Galactic War and their position outside the warring powers meant they essentially decided who won of the Republic and Imperials. It was believed that any and all surviving Eternal tech fell into disuse for it was pattern-coded to the Outlander bloodline, much like other ancient technology created by the Celestials. For example, Centerpoint Station was bonded to Anakin Solo, making it inaccessible to anyone else.”

The recording came to an end.

Saba rasped. “If Eleanor is dezcended from the Outlander bloodline, then it follows that someone has found more Eternal technology.”

Whistler showed a brief recording of the ships pursuing them, but Saba already had cliff-notes from Colcha and put it together swiftly. “Ah, I zee. With the a galaxy in zuch a weakened ztate, taking control of that fleet would make one perzon into a new Emperor.” Her voice was one of distaste.

The astromech made a noise of worry, and warbled sympathetically at Eleanor. Saba eyed Ashban with a critical eye. “You appear to be adrift in thiz tale az well, no? Zeeking an anzwer to the Dark in your heart. A Mazter, you need...”

“... and a zooth for your worriez, you need, Jedi Knight.” Saba looked to Eleanor. “An apprentice, you zhould take. Two lightz against the Dark.”

Saba rounded on Colcha. “Accelerated, your anzwer waz. Your point of view, appreciated it waz, but the otherz contributed too.” It was not criticism, she had given a positive and followed with a negative. “But no Mazter do you require... only... vengeance?”

Whistler tweeted. They were a handful of minutes out from Korriban.

The Barabel Jedi Master’s eyes widened. “Why do you go to the homeworld of the Zith?”

The Pulsar Skate arrived above world and it was not alone. Korriban was a useful hiding spot, and there was another ship in orbit; a YT-2400.

Said ship stank of the dark side; how could a Seyugi Dervish not? Of course, in all the data, Sorah would recognise the personal ship of Corran Horn, Jedi Master, and the blazing lights - and a shadow - aboard the ship.

The Pulsar Skate was damaged, and a threat, as far as Sorah would know. Similarly, when the Force users aboard the Skate caught up, they’d recognise the YT-2400 as a threat.

    Quite the introduction, no?

Eleanor frowned a little at the recording of the description of the outlanders, and then at the words of Saba. She shifted and sat up more, "So just out of curiosity, would it be better if we got there first?" She winched, "I mean, if I'm a decendent of the outlanders, then maybe I can find a way to stop it without an Emperor or Empress being declared right?" She added, wondering if it would make a difference.

She turned to Ashban as Saba suggested she take him as an apprentice. "I don't know about that. It's more you're decision then mine. And I haven't been a Knight for very long." Eleanor explained wearily. She looked at Whistler as he told them they were going to Korriban, and let out a nervous laugh. "I'm curious too buddy. That's not my first choice well...ever." She felt something shift in the force as they arrived, and sensed another ship in orbit.

"Careful." Eleanor told Whistler. "If we can see them they see us." She referred to the YT-2400 floating in orbit. " She felt nervous, not only about the ship, but also being so close to Korriban. Hopefully we can get in and out of here quickly.

    ~Oribiting Korriban~

Sorah stared at the Pulsar Skate, instantly recognizing it as the ship of Jedi Master, who the Seyugi never managed to capture, and his whereabouts were a mystery of sorts.

    Horn.

Sorah thought deeply, contemplating whether or not she should act on her base instincts and assault the damaged ship. Sorah's vendetta against the Jedi wasn't over; she still hated them with a burning passion; however, the purge had been over for a long time now. Both Sorah and the Jedi shared an enemy now; the first order. An enemy of my enemy is a friend. So maybe, just maybe, Sorah could let them pass and let old wounds heal; the Pulsar Skate was in bad shape, so it might not even be worth attacking.

But that is where Sorah made her decision; it would be her that would destroy the first order and avenge her fallen clan, not the Jedi, not ever! So with the flick of a switch and a push of a lever, Sorah fired upon the Pulsar Skate while flying towards them in hot pursuit.

    Orbiting Korriban

He had remained silent during the discussion for a reason.

Initially, he was astounded that Eleanor was a descendant of such a powerful bloodline, and did wonder if she would need to be of ‘pure blood’ to be able to access Eternal Technology. Perhaps a question for another time.

What truly concerned him was their proximity to Korriban. Why in the abyssal depths would they come to the dark planet. Ashban could feel ‘the other’ stirring inside him, thus forcing him to exert greater self-control, or risk another incident. To add to his troubles, another source of darkness had come to his attention.

He only half-listened now, as Jedi Master Saba continued to speak. Much like a ‘mineral detector gauge’, Ashban turned his body, sensing a point of darkness outside the ship.

It was another ship and someone was aboard it. Someone filled with the darkside.

Ashban slowly rose to his feet, peering out with the force through his blind eyes. He could see the aura clearly, how it fluctuated, then intensified. He could feel the intent as clearly as spoken words.

He’d paid no attention to Saba’s suggestion that he needed a Master. She was truly blind and could not see that he was broken beyond repair. No, he could not allow himself to be distracted.

A moment in time seemed to stretch and then collapse in the same instance. Ashban saw it and reacted accordingly, throwing his hands forward, the force flowing powerfully through him. Outside the hull, Ashban sought to use his Force Powers to shield and deflect the incoming laser fire aimed at the Pulsar Skate.

“We are under attack!” He announced with bitter urgency, even as he tracked the enemy ship through ‘line of sight’, ready to deflect any other incoming attack.

“But no Mazter do you require... only... vengeance?” the Barabel asked Leonias. An honest question, and one might see how one could make that assumption. Though it was an incorrect one, “Why do you go to the homeworld of the Zith?”

Leonias shook his head, and spoke in a cryptic manner that could only be understood by someone with an elementary understanding of Thyrsian spiritualism, or the Force, as knowledge of the two are directly entwined, thanks to his father's influence upon the culture. "No on both ends. I seek no master, but I shall always have one, for the Force will always have lessons to teach. And vengeance? No, that is not my way. The Sun Guard seek to protect the equilibrium, at all costs. The First Order and the Dark Side influence that guides it has grown too strong to ignore and have already thrown the galaxy into chaos. I, as the chief representative of the Sun Guard seek to do what I can to tip the scales back into balance. I continue onward to Korriban out of the hope that more Jedi can be found there, and protected in order to protect the equilibrium. The suns have fallen upon the galaxy, but we must not let their rise be halted by an eclipse."

Just then, within short succession, the ship arrived in Korriban, and a ship - a Corellian YT-2400 that stank of the Dark Side fired upon the Skate. The ship was in no condition for a fight, but Leonias had something onboard that might stand a better chance.

Rushing to the cargo bay, he found the Silver Beacon. It had suffered minor superficial damage to the hull from when it had been battered and rolled around when the Skate had made some evasive maneuvers earlier. Had it not been for the fact that Beacon was actually a sapient, Force Sensitive entity that was able to activate its shields the moment it had detected danger, the damage would have been more extensive than a few dents and scratches, but Leonias still winced at the sight of it. It wasn't pretty, and that hull damage would take hours, if not days to repair and repaint.

The ship was still combat ready though, and that's what mattered at this very moment. Leonias hopped into the vessel and waved his hand to open the cargo bay doors with the Force from the cockpit, engines blaring to life as it disembarked from the modified Baudo-class star yacht.

Taking no chances, he immediately powered up his solar ionization cannons and locked onto the pursuing freighter and fired a volley of red hot weapons fire as he made his initial attack run.

    Battle above Korriban

The droid screeched as laser fire peppered the hull, ripping through what was left of the defences of the Pulsar Skate. The ship had given up by now - it had crashed at no small percentage of lightspeed, lost its main cockpit, and generally suffered.

The fire of the YT-2400 cut through the engines, and they gave out. So even as Leonias darted out of the cargo bay and faced the new ship, the Skate went down.

This felt different to before, at Exocron.

Firstly, the ship was dead - power went out, the black of space embraced them, and gravity dragged them down.

Secondly, the world below was a black hole in the dark side.

Saba growled deep in her throat, and reached out with the Force to Ashban and Eleanor. “Meld. Now.”

She entwined the two of them with her, and began to use her Force strength - hopefully added to by them - to hold the Pulsae Skate together -

    A mindscape opened between them.

Saba was floating above a black abyss.

    There were no stars.

She blinked, looked for the other two -

And of course in the meantime the YT-2400 with its incredible team battled Colcha and his incredible ship -
