I am also doing a Darkside quest and was wondering...

How do you gain influence with your people's? You act good with Kreia, she hates you. You act bad, and Kria and everyone else hates you and you lose influence.

How do you be evil and gain influence?

How do you gain influence with your people's?

Unfortunately, you will have to take lightside points to gain influence with certain characters (like Bao-Dur). That's just the way it is. Say stuff like "I could use your help here Atton", and you'll gain influence, but you'll also gain lightside points.

I can't for the life of me think why Obsidian couldn't just add a single extra option for conversations like that such as (using the example above): "I could use your help here Atton -[LIE]". You could have still got the influence, but DS points, not LS. However, they didn't do that, and you're just going to have to suck up all the time to certain companions to get influence.

You act good with Kreia, she hates you. You act bad, and Kria and everyone else hates you and you lose influence.

To gain influence with Kreia, always give the neutral answers. There are times where you have to go dark or light, and in those cases, she seems to prefer dark choices.

There is also a way of gaining influence with other NPCs while losing influence with Kreia- all you have to do is have Kreia in your party for certain events. This is called 'The Kreia Effect'. It works like this:

Say I have Kreia and Bao-Dur as my companions and I murder an innocent civilian, and gain DS points. usually I would also lose Influence with Bao-Dur, but Kreia will use a mind trick on him, and I will in fact gain Influence with Bao-Dur, whilst losing Influence with Kreia. This is useful if you want Influence with most NPCs but you don't care about Kreia.

How do you learn force crush?

You get it automatically after you return to Dantooine if you're dark side

    also....where is darth malaks armor?

    No one's found it yet

and....when you get darht Nhilious's(sp) mask do you actulay wear the cool white one he does?

No, it's just an unusable item that raises your FP

You can get Malak's Armor, but with only Action Replay, of course I haven't found it personally.

I was reading another Forum about the Personalized Robes (Arca Jeth's, Malak's, Crado's, etc.), they said that by completing the Fassa's Freighters Quest with a very high level you can get one. But , of course, its random.

I used the Treat Plague Carrier EXP cheat to reach Lv50, then completed Fassa's quest and GOT Slyvar's Robe.

    Has anyone tried this?

The only cheat I've tried is the one in the cave on Korriban, but that was after I did Nar Shaddaa.

"The only cheat I've tried is the one in the cave on Korriban, but that was after I did Nar Shaddaa."

Me too. I guess you can use that cheat for the Fassa Quest; I don't think it will dead end if you leave Nar Shadda before finishing it. The Nar Shadda cheat can be found at:http://www.gamespot.com/xbox/rpg/kotor2/index.html

Ps: I finished Fassa's Quest after GOTO's yacht; but since I wanted to manupulate the Random Item trait, I left the Docks before talking to Fassa and saved my game in the Refugee Sector, then went back to the Docks, finised Fassa's Freighters, got Sylvar's Robe. But when I tried doing it again, reloding from my save I got NADDA. Don't know why. Next time Ill save before leaving GOTO and see if that works, or I'll not enter the Docks until the very latest.

Hey, does anyone know what happens when you replace all the missing parts on the airspeeder in the Serraco Territory in the Refugee Quad on Nar Shaddaa? This has been ticking me off. In my one game, I was waiting until everything culminated on Nar Shaddaa before I finished repairing it, and by that time, it said it was sabotaged beyond repair.

Is there a way it can be fixed and used, or what happens when you complete its repair?

That happened to me, too. I figure I just have to get all the parts for it and then go to it. It's kind of useless to have the speeder when it's much easier just to walk around and do stuff.

The speeder's just a way to have quick transportation around Nar Shaddaa instead of having to run everywhere.

Where is this speeder? I've never seen it, though I tend to zip through Nar Shardaa. :p But where is it?

And you technically don't lose influence with Kreia if you ask her what she would have done(in the case of murdering an innocent). :) You lose then gain it back so it evens out, in a way. But a lot of the others generally like you to be nice. (Atton wants you to be nice to him, but you can kill whomever you like. :p Bao-Dur, generally, you gotta be nice. Handmaiden/Disciple.. Don't even think about getting a DS point. [face_hypnotized] I've sorta got the Disciple to follow me down the wretched path of the dark side. [face_whistling] He's about 20 percent there. :p Mira, I think she likes light, doesn't she? I've never gained any influence with her. [face_blush] Visis.. Can go either way, I suppose.. Nice to her, but killing's all good too.)

But on a sidenote, whomever it was that said Bao-Dur looked bloody awesome as a Dark Jedi.. You were right! [face_laugh] He looks so funny though. [face_mischief] Even more puzzle-face-like than before. :p

I desperately need help with this fragging game. I am stuck and beyond frustrated. I have viewed several helpful posts on this board about how to proceede on Nar Shadaa but to no avail. (Note: It has been about a month since I really played. I got stuck and left it alone for the most part until yesterday.) Here is where I am at and I really hope I didn't hit the biggest glitch of all time:
1)I got the girl back to her mother.
2)I paid the Chadra Fan (bat boy) 2k credits to infom the Exchange about me.
3)I wiped out the Serroco thugs; the refugees all thank me for doing so, but my quest screen says: You've convinced Saquesh to put less pressure on the refugees. The Serroco thugs are still a nuisance, however.
    4) I got the pilot to hook up with the aliens in the Flophouse.
    5) Mandalore recruited the Mandalorians in the FLophouse.
    6) Healed the sick guy.
    7) Wiped out the Trandoshans who attack the ship.
    8) Destroyed the droid in the swoop area.
    9) SIded with Geeda and told the Aqualish to screw off which he said something about not being smart about making the Exchange mad (fine with me).
    10) Can't seem to dance for Vogga again since I triggered the Goto mission (which I can't get to at this point).
    11) Got the droid back for the Sullustan. I have the new ID signature for the Ebon Hawk, but can't find the blank transponder card.
    12) Arranged the docking order for the three ships.
    13) Took down the droids that activated from the Bith side quest.
    14) Beat all the Pazzak players (I hate pazzak, but did this hoping to advance the plot). Even fixed the droid in the den too.
    15) Went into Jek Jek tar. Tried talking to everyone. Grabbed all the chemicals I could. Can't get to the private area. Nothing else triggerin here
    16) Got the married couple back together.
    17) I can't get any of the bounty hunters to attack. I ran around solo hoping for something. Nothing! I have litterally talked with every person I can. I have completed every quest I can. I can't get to Goto. I can't get the twins to attack Atton. Talking with Saquesh is point less since the dialogue options wont trigger combat, just pointless conversations.
    17) Atton is a jedi for me. Handmaiden is not.
    18) Can't find Mira or the wookie.
Damn, that is all I can remember so far. I can't get anywhere. I even left the planet and came back. I never recieved the message from the Exchange saying to come alone to the bar. People say the Exchange is none to happy with me and I should be afraid. Still nothing!
Help please. I would like to finish this game before I head off to basic, and considering I spent the money for it!

That's the whole point, really. You have to tick off the exchange. [face_worried] That's what really made me mad about Nar Shadaa, too. [face_frustrated] I did the same thing you're doing, just run around doing everything you can in hopes of finding a way to advance the plot. I'd go kill the Exchange leader in the Refugee sector though.. There's gotta be a way to insult him and goad him into attacking.. [face_tired]

No cause I went to the Jek-Jek Tarr before hand and the quest worked fine for me...The Jek-Jek tarr is a real pain without breath control...takes alot of heal powers cast.

    Here's a rumour I heard recently:

"Once you've got either Hanharr or Mira, if you try to change your alignment to the opposite of what you had when they joined, you get weird bugs.

In other words: if you're LS on Nar Shaddaa so you get Mira, but then you try to become DS OR if you're DS on Nar Shaddaa so you get Hanharr, but then try to go LS. If you do either of these things, you get some freezes at the end of the game and the end story won't make sense either."

Anyone know if this is true?

First I would like to say hello to everyone. Okay, onto my issue.

I need some help from other PC users. I am experiencing a lot of technical problems with the game. I'm unsure if they are bugs or simply my computer causing them. I never had these problems with KotOR 1 and while I realize the games are completely different, I can play Doom 3 with no problems at all so I am hesitant to believe that it is my computer. The problems are as follows.

    1) The voice effects cut out quite often and when in dialogue, the part with the NPC speeking just skips to the part with my dialogue options. So if the NPC had a lot to say, I miss a lot of it. Simply reloading will not correct the problem either. I have to completely shut the game down, go back to windows, then restart the game to correct the problem.

    2) I've had this happen once. I was on Onderon(sp?) and my main fell into the ground. Not a hole in the ground, not part of the scenery, but fell into the ground as if he was under it. It's kinda hard to explain. I could look up and see inside the buildings from below. It was a cool view, but annoying since I couldn't get my main out of the "hole" he was in. The problem was easily corrected by switching to another party member, which teleported my main to the other character, above ground.

    3) This also happened twice. When talking to Kreia,(sp?) the screen did not go widescreen like it should have. Instead the top blacked out like normal, but the bottom did not. Exiting dialogue and then talking to her again corrected the problem, an it wasn't really annoying, I just thought I would mention it while I was listing the other problems I've encountered.

There was something else, but I can't remember what that was now. Has any other PC user experienced these problems? Or is it just me?

Alot of questions here are some answers:
Yes you can kill the exchange leader on Nar Shadda just say you are when you meet him and he will attack you. That will piss off the exchange and advance the story or talk to the HUTT and tell him you'll kill GOTO. Just be a dick when anything comes to the EXCHANGE even if your LS just do it!
The speeder is down in the refugee sector by the Serraco thugs. YES FIX IT FIRST that should be the first thing you do. Then go to the bar get Juma juice and raid the HUTTS room. I always do those first. You get MIRA or the WOOKIE AFTER you beat GOTO deppending on LS or DS. To get great influence with ATTON just KILL EVERYONE when you are with him... HE LOVES IT!!
KREIA you can ask about VISAS home world and she will give you influence unlimmited times. Bau Dur is the only one you need to do LS stuff with to get influence with. BRING him with you on NAR SHADARR and be have him fix the speader for you. Just do nice things when you are with him. EVERYONE ELSE gives you influence just by talking to them and saying nice things to them. EXCEPT HK and ATTON just kill everyone. OH that works for MANDALORE to. HANDMADIEN needs to train you on the ship once thats done you can train her.
I HAVE NEVER GOTTEN anything other than MASTER ROBES and the usual stuff. I never got any special robes like Jolees.. I have been to level 50 and never got anything new. I do belive that EVERYTHING IS RANDOM!!
I beat this game like 7 times. 1 time I got CNS enhancers like 4 of them the next game nothing...
I have no idea about SPECIAL ROBES though. I gave up on them. I even got a master robe on GOTOS ship once.
The only real grip I have with the random thig is this... IT SUCKS!!!! Oh and the game is soooo much more fun when you are DS you ever see what Bao Dur looks like when your DS??? HE's EVIL!!!!!
Oh and incase no one did this... when on DANTOOINE the first time, talk to the Ithorian right by the landing strip he wants to play PAzzak. Take ALL his money and he will put up ALOT of ARMOUR plates for. Beat him and he gives them too you. Its HARD but way worth it.

oh and that was me GLORIA!! HAHA!! EVIL BAO DUR RULES!!

I also goto the jek jek tar before I am invited and if you have a breath mask you dont need to heal. Also never had a problem with the game not advancing if I go there before its time.

If anyone has more questions you can email me.
mayhem0420@hotmail.com I have beat both KOTOR's countless times...

I've had that problem as well. I started the game Thursday night and finished Tuesday night, so basically I was playing all weekend (and each day had the game on for at least eight hours straight). I'd only start having that problem late into my gaming session when the game had been running for a long time (five or six hours at least). Like you, I just quit the game, let it rest for a minute, loaded it again, and it was just fine. I don't really know of any other way to fix it except to let the game rest periodically.
