KOTOR 2: Game Help (Hints, Walkthroughs, Strategies)

In the swoop garage, the flaps are in a metal box/plasteel canister. The power cell is from the hammerhead in the flophouse. The navicomp is in pylon 3's canister next to the Twi'lek corpse.
To get the best influence, take Atton and Bao-Dur with you and do the airspeeder early on in Nar-Shaddaa. That way the airspeeder won't be "sabotaged beyond repair".

 

I have a little tip I'd like to share since I haven't seen it mentioned yet.

The best armor to have is the norris robe. It reduces blaster and lightsaber damage tremendously. It's not so good against swords or pikes though.

Just to give you an idea, I've played lightside and in the end I killed a Sith Lord (which are tough) with only my lightsaber (no force) and no special skills (ie. power strike, flurry)

hey you guyz i was playin Kotor juss the other day and as i was fighting handmaiden for her training thingy i killed her. WTF i asked my self and ran off sayin ummm that wasnt me.... any way has anyone done that before if so why did i kill i didnt want to pleaz give me an answer

The 2nd time I played the game through, I tried to train with her and tried to cheat by equipping armor. She still beat me, but I actually died! I assume that if I'd won I would have killed her instead. Was the handmaiden gone forever from your game after that?

 

Can someone please help me out here. I can't seem to figure out how to train Handmaiden. Where is the dialogue trigger for this. And, is it even possible for me(my character has dark-side mastery) ?

 

First, you need enough influence.
Second, after one of the three fights tell her to put on some clothes (in the dialog directly folllowing a fight, not the question you can ask her).
After the third fight talk with Kreia about her, then return to Handmaiden and talk again.

 

I need help....after your main character get's captured by goto and you play as the small droid what is the code to the hutt lord's closed door, you know the one that you have to rotate

Okay, I'm about to play KOTOR2 for the third time, and I'm interested in training someone as a jedi.
I beat it the first time with a female Sith Assassin.
I beat it the second time with a male Jedi WeaponMaster.
I plan on beating it this time with a male Sith Lord (starting out as a Jedi Consular), and I want to try and train the Handmaiden as a Jedi. Do I have to be all lightside and goody-goody to get her to train, because I noted sometimes it was hard to gain influence with her as a lightside character.
Do I have to be Lightside to train Mira? I plan on going to Nar Shadaa first. Reason: want to play a fallen Jedi, and I think that Kreia's 'echoes' speeches will be a good RP opportunity for me to fall.
I don't want to play the same old darkside game again, but I want to experience training. Any thoughts? Going to start playing in 1 hour...message me at

No, either lose or you gain much influence with her. But choose one of these possibilities, not a mixture of both.

Yep. If you are DS, as you should know, Mira won't survive the confrontation with a certain walking carpet.

I plan on going to Nar Shadaa first. Reason: want to play a fallen Jedi, and I think that Kreia's 'echoes' speeches will be a good RP opportunity for me to fall.

I always do Onderon first. Reason: Less talk, more Pazaak - uh, I mean, more fights.

I've got a problem as soon I decide to train Handmaiden to Jedi, I be brought to Atris secret academy and there is nobody.... is this a bug or what shall I do? Can you help me plese?

 

Yeah that's a bug. There should be a cut sequence on Telos, but sometimes you end there in person.
Just reload and try again.

yo i dont have the time to look at all the pages so im just going to ask on this page...
im stuck on narr shadaa, first of all i helped the ithorian guy out but he just ditched with out helping me after asking him to transport the family. and he didnt give me the energy cell he is sopose to give me. =( and were the hell is goto? i cant find him! plz help me!

P.S. i like starting on dantooine its an easy place to get your lightsaber built and its a pretty a straight forward level.

 

hey there, I just got to this forum and I was wondering if you guys have heard of this before. I am coming off Koriban (last planet I had to visit) and I talk to the handmaiden on the EH and tell her i'll teach her to become a jedi or whatevs and then Keria says "betrayal" and i'm teleported to the secret academy on Telos and there is no one in it and it wont let me get back on the EH to leave, so i'm stuck. Anyone know whats goin on? Should I just wait to upgrade the handmaiden? thanks for any info you guys can toss my way.

 

Ok fine all i want to know is when you are on narr shadaa and you get the mission from vogga about goto were do you find goto. thats all i want to know plz tell me ive been on this damn planet for 12 freakin hours!!!

I've got a question. I was killed on GOTO's ship. No biggie, it's happened before, but this time when I selected "go to last saved game", it went to the last game I played that I had personally wiped off of my memory card. It's really strange. In my last game, I was under the game Zulan Farr, and in this one, I'm under Raff Molif. Like I said, I completely cleared the games with Zulan Farr off of my memory card, but now it's back, and there's no trace of my game on GOTO's ship, or of Nar Shaddaa, or anything. What's going on? Is there anyway to get my game under Raff Molif back?

 

I know on the PC version they save different files for different characters. Perhaps you need to 'switch characters' (which I think can only be done at the starting screen, or maybe the load screen).

 

Is their any way you can get your orginal lightsaber for your character instead of one you build ?

No...Unless someone know's something I don't...I've played the game about 3 times and I never could get it back...I think I've read on here that you couldn't either


Okay I'm havein a problem myself..I'm playin a Lightside male and the handmaiden got ticked off at me..because the old bat (kreia [SP?]) said something to her I guess it's cuz I have more influence with visus but is there anything I can do to get on her good side...I've gotten like two influence things with her since...but I can't train with her or anything.


Tip for x-box (I have no idea if it works for comp) I?ve told two people about this and they didn't know about it..So this might help someone out unless it?s just a glitch that my disc has...But if you use ?A? to attack instead of ?X? you can use heal as many times as you want in a fight without using all your force points..Just hit heal then Flurry (Or whatever attack you like) but wait to hit flurry until you hear the sound the game makes for heal hit your attack once then heal will go back into your menu..(it?s a timing thing so if it doesn?t work keep trying it.) you can use this trick through the whole fight...I like to use it when I?m out numbered. It also works with all the force powers in the same menu as your heal (Sorry can?t do it with force lighting or drain life..I?ve tried.) I hope that helps someone it should work but like I said unless it?s a glitch that my x-box/disc has I have no idea if it would work for comp...Sorry if it's confusing...but I thought someone might like to know about it if they didn?t.

 

LadyAngelic...I am not sure how far into the game you are, but try and talk to Atton about it. Sometimes his dialog will change after Mira or Handmaiden blow up on you. If you have a bit more influence with Visas than the Handmaiden this can happen.
Also, has anyone found out where to get either Jedi Master, or Dark Jedi Matser robes? So far, I only find them dropped bye Vrook and Sion. Has anyone found them anywhere else?

 

Flipping through the Strategy Guide I Saw Darth Malak's Armor... I've beaten the game 4 times and never found that... Where would I pick that Nifty Darkside Artifact up?

 

I found a Genosian power spike on the Ravager!

 

All the iteams are random.... I did find Master Robes on GOTO's ship once.... I dont know anyone who has found ANY of the "unique" robes. Just the basic ones,
I have beat this game A BUNCH of times too many to count and I a have NEVER found anything that guide says is in the game....
