yeah i have rented an xbox for a week and rented KotOR and i beat the game twice.

Playing completely thru, from start to finish? Because I consider myself a very good gamer and it took me a good 48 hours without any strategy guides or online help my first run thru. Just wondering, that sounds pretty fast to beat a game once, let alone twice.

but both times i played when on korriban, i always chose to be on the head of academy's apprenntice instead of with him, when its time to fight. i was wonderin what happens if u choose to be on his side instead of his apprentice?

Well, I hve never found out, I always turned on both of them, and killed both at the same time.

this was in the summer when i rented the xbox, and i woke up at 7:00am to start playing and finished at 2:00am the next morning. i would only take breaks for supper and breakfast and lunch, and bathroom breaks, cuz thats a long time to hold it in lol. but the first time took me 3 days of those hours to beat it on the lightside.

the second time around was easier kinda cuz i knew what to do, but it was different in a way cuz i chose to be on the darkside. so its all good.

i think it was a reasonable time to beat the game. it all depends on the person too. im a good gamer and stuff, and after reading some post u made earlier ur an awesome gamer urself. u figured some stuff out that i didnt even know about.

im saving all my money for an xbox so i can buy KotOR and JKJA.

Allow the Jedi Master to help with your questions? :D

I am wondering about Romance options with CARTH.

You need to talk to Carth every time you level up. Once you get to the point where a guy approaches him about his son, you should almost immediately go to Korriban and rescue him.

If you collect three Star Maps without rescuing Dustil, the romance sub plot ends.

Yeah, how do you start that one up? Can you do both Carth AND Juhani?

Yes. Once you get to the temple summit and drive off Bastilla, Juhani tells you she?s attracted to you. I don?t know what happens if you tell her you feel the same way.

I never found any of the items of the three terentatek hunters--Guun Han Saresh, Duran Qel-Droma, or Shaela Nur.

Qel Droma?s Jedi robes are found in the caves on Korriban on the other side of the bridge where you fight the terentatek, along with a few other goodies.

Their journals are found in the areas around each of the terentatek?s lairs, on Korriban in the caves, in the Tomb of Naga Sadow and in the gullet of the one you kill on Kasykkkk.

Also, what about Juhani and Dak Vesser? Can you get them together somehow?

Nope. Juhani isn?t into the guy thing.

And I never actually got either Bastila or Carth to kiss me. How do you do it?

Talk to them every chance you get. See above for the info on the Carth subpot.

You can start up a PC romance with Juhani?? You're kidding, right?

Nope. You can, but only if you are female.

    Hope this was helpful.

lol, what do u know, juhanni is a lesbian!

i have a another question. also when i rented the xbox and in the sewers when it was time to kill the rancor or whatever he was, and u find the severed arm, i didnt know how to put that smell potion thing on the other stuff so he could eat it.

all i did was take mission, go in solomode, she was cloaked, and go like 2 feet behind him, and throw some bombs. then he ran after me, and i ran to the bridge, and kept throwing bombs. then when i ran out i took the wookie and ran to the bridge and bombed him, and by that time he was like dead. so there are other ways to do it.

my way im told u get more xp. do u get any hp at all if u blow him up?

The suggested way of taking out the Rancor is to go to the corpse pile, click on it and "give" is the grenade and the odor thing. Then you see a cut scene where the Rancor comes over and eats a grenade.

But the fun way of doing this is to have Mission collect mines throughout the under city and seweres. Starting with two gas mines closest to the Rancor, have her create a dense mine field while she is in Stealth Mode. Do this near the corpse pile, on the left side of it.

Once you have used up all the mines have her toss a grenade and then run for the doors. The Rancor will run over the mines and blow himself up. This might take a few tries, as he might miss a few mines, but if you do a good job with the density and the distance, he should go down easy.

Yep, which is the building on your left as you approach the gate of the city to the dune sea.

Before you buy him, talk to him. He's quite funny and suggests you use "agressive negotiations".

If you threaten to kill Yuka Laka he will lower the price to 2,500 credits, but you earn a Dark Side point and won't be able to buy anything else in his store. The good news is, he doesn't really have anything else worth buying.

HK-47 is invaluable if you want to talk you way through the Tusken encalave, which is recommended. You still have to kill the Tuskens at the enterance way to the Sand People territory to gain their uniforms, but you can then walk through their territory and enter their enclave, and with HK-47 as your translator you can reach a peacful solution to their attacks on the Czerka.

As far as his memory goes, you (not your party) have to have a repair skill of 16 in order to access his special features. Once he says the operation was a success, ask him about his former masters.

I found HK-47 is best used if you are playing a Dark Sider scout. Repair him, then arm him with Jurgan Kalta's assault rifle (found on Datioone for 8,000 credits)and make sure you give him the best droid armor you have, plus falme throwers and (eveuntaully) carbonite projecors. Set his AI on droid support and keep him in the back of the party as a substitute for Carth.

With his skills he is the best all around party member when fully repaired. The downside is only a scout or scondrel can help him achieve his max potential.

Let me know if you want to know more.

    hey JP,
i had hk and went into the enclave, but they opened fire as soon as i stepped there.

I heard something about if you kill too many sand peeps, but they keep ambushing...

If you kill all the Sand People in their territory before entering the enclave, they attack.

Also, make sure you are wearing the Sand People cloths.

As soon as you get inside, have HK-47 tell them you are not a threat.

    Juhani's a lesbian?

I don't know whether to be repulsed or aroused.

So I think I'll just eat some cake.

As for Carth and Bastila, do you just take them in the back room of the ship and kiss them? Or can you do it in the middle of a Sith base with 100 Ye Olde storm troopers and your other party member watching?

And finally, can you get Juhani to kiss you?

Actually, there is a better (i.e. more fun) way of dealing with the droids in the hallway, and you can actually talk to the droid master.

First off, equipt a double-bladed lightsabre with any crystal that does extra damage to droids (you need to have two handed fighting maxed out BTW). Turn on Master Speed and watch the fun begin. You will singel handedly demolish every droid in sight. Hell, you can even leave the other party members outside the tempel! Well, you have to send them back to the ship, but if you are 16th level or so you really won't need them for this and they just might get in your way.

After the funs over, go to the body and pick up the datapad and the stealth generator. Then equipt the sound dampner and enter the chamber with the droid leader. If you talk to him and manage to deprogram his assasination program, he'll give you heavy droid armor level three, and advanced flame thrower and a carbonite projector mark II.

Needless to say, these are really cool things to have, especially if you are on the Dark Side and using HK-47 in your party instead of Carth.

Oh, HOW do you poisen the Sith Woman on Korriban that wants you to turn on the master?

I'll do you one better. I'll tell you how to poison both Yuthura and Master Uthar, and still get a Light Side point for your treachery!

First talk to Yuthura and accept her offer to go against Uthar. After you pump her for all the info she's worth (but don't ask her any personal questions) go to Uthar and tell him Yuthura is planning to kill him. He then gives you a data pad and tells you to give it to a guy named Andreas near the exit to the Valley of the Dark Lords. BAM! Yuthera will now be poisoned.

Then go back to Yuthura and tell her that Uthar knows she's plotting against him. She'll ask you if you said anything. Lie and say you didn't. She won't beleive you, but will give you a pass card to Uthar's room and a Sith device to plant on his bed. If you activated the mission to rescue Carth's son before coming to Korriban, make sure to check both the footlockers here as well.

Do not mention to Yuthura that Uthar plans to hve her poisoned!

Now, after you do the rest of the Korriban side missions go to Uthar for your final test. After you are in the Tomb of Naga Sadow and complete the final task you face both Uthar and Yuthera.

They both try and get you to side with them, but tell them "I choose me". When they ask why tell them "I could never become an evil Sith". Then they will feel the effects of the poison, and curse you for your treachery. Then say "Your evil was more than willing to turn on each other".

You will get a nice Light Side bonus, and both Uthar and Yuthera will be too weak to stand against you. The down side (if you want to call it that) is you now have to kill all the Sith in the academy.

If you want, I can give you some tips for that as well. :D
