Yeah, you have to do a lot more to open up the Giff storyline to get it to work. I know once I tried to rush things and Giff's brother did not show up.

Does anyone know how to specifically trigger the twi'lek to approach you and open Mika's uber store on Korriban? In all my earlier games he just appeared after the Leviathan incident, but the punk refuses to show up in my current game no matter what I do. This is especially annoying considering the l33t combat machine I had assembed.

today was a good day for beating the game. since i bought it this is the second time i have beaten it. both times on the darkside, next time i am gonna try the lightside, but anyway what do u think the best lightsaber is the most efficient.

    1 handed lightsaber
    2 handed lightsaber
    or double bladed lightsabre

me, i prefer the double bladed lightsabre, i think (with the right crystals u put in it) it does more damage. like i have sith strength gloves, my strength was at 20, i had a power belt, and my damage was 15-28, and each side my to hit was 28 and 20. so i am gonna stick with the double bladed lightsabre.

Two full sabers, and I'll tell you why....

    Lightsaber crystals.

They do extra damage, increase your chance to hit and can even help deflect blaster fire back with a better chance to hit.

With two full sabers & two handed fighting maxed out, you have up to four ways to modify your saber.

One handed fighting is useless. Double bladed sabers have their uses, especially as an anti-droid saber, or when you start off as a Jedi and don't have enough crystals for two full sabers. But once you have four crystals, two full sabers is the way to go.

My first run thru I went with a pure single saber combat, as I wanted to be in tradition of the Jedi.

My second run thru I went with Twin sabers, for the primary reason that I wanted to maximize my crystals, but I found out that yes, to concentrate your anti-droid crystals in a double bladed lightsaber, especially if you are going to go the Dark side and won't have Destroy Droid at your beck and call.

the crystals i had in my doubled bladed lightsaber was krayt dragon pearl, and opila

    it did some good dmg,

but also with twin sabers its good too (especially on the dark side) cuz u can kill komad and get the other krayt dragon pearl, and put that in the other saber!!

    dark side is fun!!

Or you could just dupe the dragon pearls. ;)

    Can somebody help,

I am on the star forge, and am on deck2.

I get to the area where you can see the ships coming up and flying away or that hallway with all the gun turrets at one end.

    any suggestions?

towards the turrets or the other way?

    thanks

first go the other way and theres this room where (depending on the side u are on) u can get darth revans robes, or star forge robes for like 26 spikes, and also in that room u can disable the turrets, but u need 8 spikes.

then after u do that, then go towards the turrets.

    hope that helps.

*** the door with the robes is the first door ( opposite of turrets)

So if i go into the hallway, i go opposite direction of the turrets and get some robes and disable the turrets?

is there anybody in that room besides the million dark jedi?

    thanks

there are only 3 dark jedi in there, plus the robes will definatly help u with battles, and u dont have to go in there, u can kill the turrets manually, but it could take u awhile.

so ur best bet is probaly to go there, get the armor and disable the turrets.

    :)

Okay, i'm stuck on Datooine. I've finished my task at the ruins and where i'm at Bastilla has just gotten the news of her mother's sickness. The Council is telling me i should get off the planet and start on the mission but i'm fumbled on how. How do i get off the planet from here. Right now i have the game saved while i am sitting in the Ebon Hawk clueless. What now?

When you hear of Bastilas mother, you should be on Tatooine. You'll need to go to the cantina on Tatooine and her mother is in the back. You could also just leave, and try it later too. Cuz, she will have a favor to ask you.
Hope this is helpful to you.

    On behalf of a pal:

While still on Dantooine, after i was getting off the Ebon Hawk, a Twi'lek Jedi came up to me and Bastilla and said she knew her mother and that she was on Tatooine. Anyways, how do i get off the planet? The Council has told me i can go but i just don't know how.

I heard you should click on the Nav computer that looks like the holographic galaxy map in the bridge of Ebon Hawk.

Or if you are bugged you should clicked on the Galaxy droid and redo Taris. ;)

Head back to the Ebon Hawk to get off the planet. On each planet you go to, you must go back to your ship and access the Nav Computer to choose your next destination. There's no set pattern of which planets to go to, but you will need to return to planets you've previously visited to complete tasks.

The Nav Computer is in the bridge of the Ebon Hawk where Bastila and Carth hang out.

Forgive me if this is a simple question, but I am relatively new to RPG games.

I am letting the computer automatically upgrade me. Does that mean I cannot get more feats? I am stuck with the same two feats for Carn and my character and I was wondering if it because I let the computer level up me.

So my real question is - how do I get more feats for combat - I think that will help me in the arena. I keep getting armor and clasters and bombs off of people, bu tnever feats....

I am doing well. I completed all but one of the bountys, am up to Marl in the matches (so I need to defeat the champ to get the last bounty) and saved the sick people down below and completed the serum quest.

So any help with my query is welcome. Sorry if this is really basic - again, I am new to these games.

First of all...stop that! ;) That was my mistake on this game until about 1/4th of the way through a friend told me to manually upgrade every time. You're seeing the problem that the computer just gives you feats and skills that you don't need. Get your persuade skill up as much as you can since you're the only one who can talk to other characters. Other than that, it's kind of up to you as to what you want for your skills and feats. Personally, I made sure to get my healing up and made my specialty in lightsabers. I made sure to get some good Force specialties as well.

With your party members, make them specialists in certain areas so you don't have to worry about spreading yourself too thin. Example, I made Carth an expert in blasters, Juhani with stealth, Mission in demolitions, Bastila with other force powers, etc. That way, you get their skills up in areas that will make your group more effective.

edit - Also, your effectiveness in combat depends on the type of character you've chosen. On my first run through I was a Scoundrel/Sentinal and I wasn't as strong in combat as my second run as a Soldier/Guardian. For example, as a Scoundrel I couldn't get past Dead Eye Duncan on Taries but my Guardian kicked butt all the way through to Bendak Starkiller. But I did better in Pazaak as a Scoundrel than as a Guardian. :D

So then how would I get the feats? I can use my points to get new feats? And expertise?

You get feats as you advance in levels. I forgot what the rate is.

I get them automatically? They get assigned to me automatically?

Really? Is there a way of knowing when?

Feat and skill points are gained depending on class. The soilder gained feats every levels, and additional feats every 2 levels. While Scondrel only gained a feat every 4 levels or so.

    I am the other one.
So how much do I have to wait for more feats?

Totally depends on how many point you accumulate. Again, you can assign feats and skills yourself - don't let the computer do it for you. Once you get into the menu screen, you'll see the different feat options and can choose among them.

edit - You'll know when you can assign feats when you level up. It will give you the option to assign them at that time.
