These are just Idea's though.

 

KOTOR started development as a Clone Wars game. If Revan's mask is anything to go by, I wonder if the Fetts were to be involved.

 

Actually, In my head canon the Mandalorian woman, who owned the mask before Revan, was Cassus Fett's sister. This explains why the mask colour design looks similar to Boba Fett's and also why the woman was brave enough to question Cassus' orders and try to change his mind, she knew him so well.


Cassus does call her "Warrior" but that could have just been him being completely professional.

 

Maybe the Mandalorian Wars were to be the Clone Wars?

 

He is mentioned in the Plagueis book.

 

I'm not interested in SWTOR at all. So hype couldn't be lower. I really wish EA would just make it official that SWTOR is exiting the legends universe to do it's own thing. None of this The Eternal empire stuff will ever be written about in legends books or articles anyway. It will only be contradicted by previous writing that will never be updated or retconned like things were in the past when the old EU was canon, to make it fit in.

 

Its interesting, and really at this point I can think of several ways the game could still be squeezed into the old legends. But of course that could change with future updates.

I finished my Trooper campaign and have moved to a Sith Inquisitor.
I'm going back and forth between factions to maximize entertainment value.
Next I will do the counselor, agent, smuggler, and finally the bounty hunter.
And my family tree will be a mess.
After all of that I might check out the outlanders story depending on how things go.

 

If you read Republic Commando, you realize how much Jedis are jerks. I'd rather read about the old empire or the huge old republic battles. The soldiers had awesome armor. TOR is so much better than the prequels, and the only thing better is the original trilogy

 

Or you realise how much Travis hates Jedi and does her best in all her books to show them in a bad light.

The sith armour in Kotor is awesome, it has a kind of elegant military evilness about it. The republic soldier uniform being far more human, more like a police uniform. Both look original.

On the other hand Swtor has generic republic trooper armour that looks like it came straight out the clone wars. The sith armour makes me laugh how bad it looks, I mean the helmet is an upsidedown plant pot, and the suit is basically Darth Vader's.

Its the same with ships a vehicles in SWTOR, they look like generic copies of ones from the films.

 

can someone explain this game to me, do you think we'll get to play as her mom who gets her daughter taken from us, and in terms of the star wars game is the character already a well known character were just seeing her backstory?

Yeah It's pretty confusing to people that don't already play the game isn't it. I've been watching though this video to get the story behind what is going on in the new trailer, as I will never be playing the game myself.

Will be making a start on the banner soon and I will try my hand at drawing the assets for it. That way there be a consistent look across the eras. There still be opening for suggestions on what to have in it.

Side note, BioWare's Jade Empire has appeared on the iOS App Store… Hopefully we'll get Sith Lords soon (I know Oblivion did that one but here's hoping)

 

That's great news about Jade Empire.

I really hope a mobile Kotor II port has much better controls for the swoop bike racing. That's one thing I hate about Kotor I mobile port, the races after Taris are made impossible by the horribly laggy touchscreen controls. They should also not remove the 1st person look around camera and sword twirl ability like Kotor I port did.

 

Did you guys see that petition to get Disney to back an Old Republic Netflix original series?? When I signed it there were about 90k signatures.

Would have been nice if they had mentioned the kotor comic and TOTJ.

 

I know that not everyone is a fan of SWTOR version of Revan but I think we can all agree that this artwork is a great one.

It's incredible.

And that's from a fan who didn't really like the SWTOR version.

I love the face on Malak here, perfectly done.

 

There is no doubt about the artist's skill. It really isn't a style I like though, it's too dark comic book like. Revan could be Spawn with his robe flying like that, and Malak's face is overly lined.

 

Malak here is better than the no-line face from KOTOR!
