**Leia's Bikini Scene Discussion Thread**

Carrie Fisher either had a great double or someone did a good job with a trick shot.

 

That's one of the best pics I've ever seen.

 

Does anyone have a picture where you can clearly see Leia's shoes in the metal bikini? While watching Empire of Dreams, they mentioned she was wearing high heels and injured one of the guys who where in Jabba. But when I watched ROTJ, it looked more like she was wearing some kind of boots, no high heels.

 

No high heels. He was embellishing his story about something that happened a long time ago.

I have a question about Leia's bikini double.

When was she needed? The only scene I can think of might be when Luke and Leia swing off the sail barge. The camera shows us them swinging off, and we see their backs. Was this the double? Just curious about this little bit of trivia.

 

Yes, that was her stunt double. I've heard that if you look closely, you can tell because Carrie Fisher has a birthmark somewhere on her back that then disappears in that show because it's a stunt double.

Now if only I could find that above picture big enough to go on my desktop. Or a one-sheet poster size to hang on my bedroom wall.

 

I enjoy watching the sequences where you see Padme (cough)I mean, Leia in the slave bikini. Definetly one one of the scenes I look forward to most in RotJ. Although I wouldn't mind seeing Padme in it either heh. If you've ever read Tales from Jabba's Palace, our man Fett got his chance to actually, uhh 'give her a bone' when she was in the slave outfit. He declined though and even gave her his bed sheet for her to coverup. Heh, that's our moralist Fett..

 

Haha!! Yeah, I remember that. I remember at the start of the story, it even describes Leia as being forced to stand there (in front of Jabba and everyone else present) naked for a moment after being stripped of her Boussh disguise until she's covered again with a robe or something and escorted out. Oh, if only there was a picture book to go with that story!

I also like this moment in the ROTJ radio drama. Everyone's aboard the Falcon, heading off Tatooine, and Leia says she's going to go see if there's something more comfortable she can change into, and Han says, "Leia, are you, uh . . . you gonna get rid of that?" and she says, "Well . . . maybe I'll hang onto it." lol!!

We all love Liea. We all love padme. But in my opinion, Padme is Hotter. You can see he nipples in AOTC when she is viewing the hologram of Obi Wan. I think that is one of my favorite outfits I love. Therer are more but I don't have time to list them. It would be nice if she would put on that Slave outfit that Leia weirs

Not quite yet.

Knightley and Padme are hot(God, just five minutes alone with either one and she'll never be the same), but Leia has a more regal appearance to her. I can't really explain it, but she seems more royal.
