It seems the flu has been really buggy this year! I hope you're feeling better now.

 

Forgive my ignorance, but who can vote? And, are they pm'ed in? And, if so, is it to you or the sock?

Once agian, forgive me for my ignorance.

 

It would have truly helped to have the title updated once in a while.

 

Oops, I forgot to say, everyone who has read the stories can vote on which they think is best via PM to the "LifesAStage-Director" sock. There are links to the eligible fics in the fifth post on page one for your viewing convenience.

Well it's official. VaderLVR64 won with "Some Measure of Joy". Congratulations, that was a great and unexpected response to that challenge.

Now, here is the next challenge:

Write a story based on Climb Every Mountain from Sound of Music. It can be any genre and does not have to have any of the lyrics in it.

What's the catch?

You cannot use any of the characters that were mentioned about by any of the authors in the first challenge! Not really all that hard, there were only seven characters... Vader, Grivious, Ben/Obi-wan Kenobi, Beru, Owen, Padme and Luke.

The deadline is April 7, 2008.

EDIT: Because I forgot to include Obi-wan in the list of characters... funny, that I had said there were seven characters but listed six.

Unoriganal, I know, but the best I could come up with for it.

 

That was fast! I haven't even gotten a plot bunny to bite as yet!

 

Well, it only took as long as it did because I hadn't had a plot bunny-bite. Then I got one and it flowed out from there.

 

I had to come up with mostly OC's after you included Ben/Obi-Wan but Qui-Gon was not mentioned so he is in this single post vignette. My entry is Caring for children

 

Me either! Thought I had one, but then it went away! Hope they start biting soon!

There are four stories so far for this challenge, and just over a week until the deadline, April 7. This looks promising.

I've updated the fifth message on the first page to include the list of stories in this challenge for easy referencing.

Write a story, any genre based on the song, "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away" from the Beatle's musical, "Help!". It does not have to be a songfic, but must include at least four lines from the song. Bonus if you include lines from any of the other songs from "Help!"
