linkin park appreciation thread

come on all you liknin park fans come and discuss the greatest band ever

 

I like the song "crawling" but I wouldn't call them the greatest band ever.Far from it.

But I have a question you may know the answer to.I've been curious to why one of their guitar players ALWAYS has headphones on.Every video and I saw a live performance on tv and he had them on.

 

I agree Bossk. Not the greatest band ever but Crawling and In The End are good songs.

The song that is on Big Shiny Tunes 6 is okay.It was LP's first single.

 

Do they have three or four members?

They need to release "Papercut" on the radio.

The one singer looks like monkey.He seriously does.He has the Curious George ears.

 

They have 6 members and that's One Step Closer, they're first single. I have Big Shiny Tunes 5! I don't plan on getting 6.

 

Someone asked me if I went to their show a li'l while ago . . . I said I'm sorry I don't think I listen to that kind of music and then I got a bunch of weird/shocked looks . . .

And I still don't even know what they are or how they sound or anything? :\

That's what I get for living in a self-imposed exile under a rock, I guess . . . *pout*

 

"My December" is a great song. Very depressing.

 

They are currently my favourite band. "Hybrid Theory" is awesome. I like "Crawling" and "In the End". Downloading "My December" now.

i just got that cd, hybrid theory, and i havent really listened to it much, but just from on the radio, i really like "in the end". btw linkin park was just on cribs if anyone cares

 

They have a bunch of great songs, but they are not the greatest band ever. Give them a few years, then maybe they will be. Personally, I think the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and U2 are the greatest bands ever. Oh ya, the Beatles too.

Recently I had a choice between Linkin Park's and Staind's cd.I chose Staind.So far I've been happy with my choice although I don't the album is so great.

 

I'll be seeing them when they come to Vegas on Feb 24th. Very good band, very good music.

Red Hot Chilli Peppers are only second to The Beatles. And Linkin Park could be 3rd. Or not.

I'm only a fan of their work with John Frusciante.Before he was with them,and after he left,I find the band to be somewhat incomplete.Good thing he rejoined because he's awesome!

I 2 of the 3 Frusciante solo albums too.

 

My favorite song of theirs is Californication. I thought it was very well done. Whether you find me nuts or not, thats my favorite song of theirs.

 

You're not nuts. That's a good one! And so is the music video.

My fave is "Scar Tissue". And then "Otherside".

Californication is also my fave by them.

I can play Californication on guitar.Its quite easy.The solo on the record plus two other solos I've seen John do in concert.
