Its the title that Nickelodeon recently trademarked, that "inside sources" suggest is a future Avatar project. Details are sparse but we are supposed to hear more soon, possibly during SDCC.

I hope this movie gets just enough for a sequel, but they realize that they need to drop MNS like a bad habit.

While they desperately need to start over, I definitely agree that if they do a sequel, M. Night has to go.

It has probably made enough for a sequel in my book. But get rid of M Night.

I saw it today in 3-D for free(my first 3-D movie experience), after paying to see Eclipse. they should never leave the drop box for the 3-D glasses by the door, because now I have a free set of 3-D glasses.[face_shhh]

I enjoyed it and thought it was done fairly well, even though there is much room for improvement. Zuko's scar should be much larger and more noticeable

Theatres charge extra for 3D movies even if you already have the glasses [face_plain]

I have a question about the cartoon. I watched the first episode. Is it all like that? Is the flavor/humor the same, or, like DragonBall, does is (supposedly) get more adult as they go along?

There is much character development in the series

It takes a while for the show to find its footing, but when it does its usually firing on all cylinders. You can definitely see a progression of the character arcs and plot, and the subject matter does indeed grow with the characters I would say.

As I said a couple weeks ago, I caved and saw the movie... though my dad payed for me and my son to go see it with him. What a horrible **** fest! I told you so! I told you so! I told you so! Haha.

Now let's fire everyone involved. Call Sifu Kisu. Call Sammo Hung(Lord knows we need a perfect fit for Iroh)

    Sammo in Zu Warriors:

Sammo as Zhang San Feng(legendary creator of Tai Chi Chuan and founder of the Wu Dang/Tang Taoist Temple on Wu Dang/Tang Mountain) in Jet Li's Kung Fu Cult Master:

Best of all, he knows kung fu backward and forward and could easily get the movie going on the right direction with filmed kung fu. Even better, he's an expert at the one shot take style of cinematic martial arts choreography.

Gotta star out the whole word.

OK, let me rephrase: does the cartoon develop beyond kiddie potty humor?

Yes it does indeed get past that point.

Still almost every single episode makes you laugh.

Yes, buy I'm extremely (annoyingly?) picky. If it's pop culture, probablly not. Few exceptions. I can PM you a list...

Incredibly yes. There's still some LOL episodes (Cave of Two Lovers, Ember Island Players), but once the show gets serious, it gets serious and dark and amazing.

"Sokka, why is your forehead all red?" [face_laugh] =D=

Amazingly enough, the series even manages to pull of a horror episode in the final season [face_skull]

Cave of Two Lovers is my favorite episode. Mostly just for the song.

I find most of the episode annoying, but the red forehead bit is probably one of my favorite jokes of the series...next to most things Uncle Iro says and Appa hiding behind a bush sight-gag.

I was already a tea drinker, but Uncle Iroh got me into being more discerning about the quality of my teas. Now I'm like a tea snob.
