    In the Air Force, it was Military Airlift Command. After a big reorganization, MAC was renamed AMC, Airlift Mobility Command, aka Alcoholics Moving Cargo. Before it was MAC it was MATS, Military Air Transport Service, aka Might Arrive Tomorrow Sometime.
