Macon, GA MACON CLONES Present "Obscure Movie Night"

What is "Obscure Movie Night?

We polled our members and asked everyone to nominate a film that they loved but was likely that few had seen. We formed a list and polled again to see how many folks had seen each film and voila! The least watched films became our most obscure for this event.

Some of the films that may be featured are:

The Commitments
Harold and Maude
The Triplets of Belleville
The Room
The Black Hole

The first marathon will be held on Sunday February 21st in Macon, GA. Refreshments will be on hand.

The schedule is set. We will be splitting our suggested films into several dates. We'll discuss the future dates at the meeting this Thursday.

Wristcutters has been bumped from the schedule for the inaugural CLONE Movie Marathon. Harold and Maude will be shown instead.

The movies begin at 2 pm with Ink followed by The Hidden Fortress with Harold and Maude closing us out.

What a turnout!

Eleven CLONES took part in our inaugural Obscure Movie Marathon.

We got things started with Ink recommended by NamcoKing.

Ink was followed by an Star Wars fan favorite and Lucas inspiration The Hidden Fortress. We watched this japanese production in its original form and skipped the George Lucas commentary that was included. We had our own commentary to share.

We closed the night with the dark comedy Harold and Maude.

It was a great night with great films and great friends. We will be scheduling a follow-up sometime in the next three months so stay tuned here or check us out at Macon Clones.com and visit our home message board.
