I am not watching a 20 minute video, thank you very much. I'll just take your word for it.

 

I did it in 19. And solved all the world's problems at the same time.

I doubt it's real. I found problems with it right at the beginning.

1. He shouldn't start in the castle
2. Bowser is supposed to speak.

And that was in the first 5 seconds.

 

Thats kind of disturbing. That a person has nothing better to do than play Mario 64 for days on end probably, becoming so good, that he can beat it in 20 mins.

Yeah, this could well be fake. The Mario Bros 3 one turned out to be.

He exploited a bunch of glitches to bypass some things. Meh.

 

I don't know if it was faked or not but that was pretty cool.

 

I think they skipped the part where you run to the castle. Bowser did speak- he closed the window almost immidiatly.

I think its real.

They showed this on G4. During the show Cinematech in the corner they sometimes show speed runs. One guy beat Half-Life in about 45 minutes.

Meh. Vin Diesel once beat Super Mario Bros 3 without even touching his Nintendo controller. He just yelled at his TV in between bites of his "Filet of Child" sandwich, and the game beat itself out of fear.
