I would pay good money to see Mark don a curly wig and a big moustache and then deliver those lines. If I saw that, my life would be complete.

I take it that Liverpool is primarily working class?

 

It's more of a Northerners v Southerners thing they're sending up here, with the idea that everyone down south is posh. Check out John and co. in 'Attack the Block' and you'll see how wrong those sorts of fantasists are.

Btw this isn't taken from a programme called The Scousers or anything; it's a sketch from the Harry Enfield Show where he and others played larger than life characters. Most Scousers see the funny side of it and have been known to do the whole curly wig and moustache thing as a self-parody.

One of my best mates here in Aus is a scouser, and one of my best mates when I lived in Kent was from Runcorn. They both see the funny side of the Scouse stereotype.

Slipstream was terrible and Mark Hamill was also terrible in that movie, it was one of his worst roles (that I have seen him in).

If DC Animation makes a Killing Joke adaption film (which there have been rumours of) and doesn't use Mark Hamill as the Joker for his freakin' origin story I would demand vengeance.

However, if Mark's final performance as the Joker ends up being "Arkham City" it's a hellova note to go out on, pretty fantastic stuff. It's probably way cheap now if people want to track it down and play the main story all the way through to hear his Joker performance.

Also, I'm hoping at some point in the ST, Mark gets his super-sinister scary voice on. We know he has it in him, we've been hearing it for decades. Maybe circa Episode 8.

 

he's always seemed down to earth and that he knows he's very lucky.

 

I liked him in Wing Commander III. Fun game back in the day plus it was cool to see him back in space.

 

I liked him in Slipstream.
