i'd like to see luke stay in all black. since he's apparently gonna be the new grandmaster of the jedi order he can any implement any dress code he likes.

I still disagree. Yes, he had internal conflict, and yes his outfit was a way to visualize it... but it also is part of who he is. He's a Grey Jedi as was Qui-Gon... only his outfit showed that fact through the entire story. Keep the same color scheme, because he should still be Grey in nature as Qui-Gon was.

I don't know if I'd go that far... he looks older than my Dad did when my Dad was 67.

Tom Cruise is 50, you can't tell me Hamill looks that young.

I'm probably in the minority, but I actually hope Luke ISN'T wearing the traditional Jedi robes in these movies. To me, it seems like that time has passed. Yoda didn't have a dress code when it came time to train Luke, and judging by Luke's personality and what he went through, I don't think he'd reinstate the old dress code either. I think the new Jedi should simply be wearing their own individual garbs that are practical for martial arts and combat. Something akin to what Luke wore during the training sequences in Empire: a sleeveless tunic with military-style fatigues and combat boots.

As for Luke himself, it depends on the situation we see him in. If he's the head of a new, grand Jedi Order with hundreds of members, then he should probably be wearing something dignified and regal. However, if he's kind of like a hermit, out in the wilds, training an apprentice here and there (which I think will be closer to the truth), then I could see him wearing a rustic garb similar to what Wilford Brimley wore in the Ewok movie, or a Star Wars equivalent of what Tom Bombadil wears.

I would think in the 30 years since ROTJ that Luke got his synthetic "skin" repaired on his mechanical hand - hence he wouldn't have to wear the black glove anymore.

    Cool pic though!

I think this with black pants pretty much matches an old RotJ concept.

I like these two best. I figured he would keep the "DARK" robe also. I don't think it would be brown like Obi but I would be fine with brown but I just want a continuation from "Jedi" so I want him to stay in black.

he looks (still wish he went without the beard) and sounds awesome! The 1st trailer is going to be more mind blowing than the teaser for TPM

I would imagine they will reference it. If not with the glove, in some other way.

Remember, Luke's hand is basically like his old hand:

Wasn't the glove to cover up the fact he got shot in the hand? I'm pretty sure he'd fixed that by now, so I doubt he'll have the glove on.

I guess I haven't been to Disneyland in a while. When the hell did Mickey Mouse get fully articulated eyes and mouth? Dear God, that is terrifying.

Also, poor Mark needs to get some sleep. Poor guy looks tired.

I honestly think the Big 3 negotiated probably "Joint" salary's like the "Friends" cast did. I think there all getting the same. My theory is about 15 Million with box office points on the back end. Harrison may have gotten 20 though cause that what he can command based on his box office history.
