In my mind 5 years is best, its long enough to really wet the appetite again but I suspect it will only be 3. $4Bill is a lot of wad and I suspect they will have only just recouped that by the end of this trilogy, maybe a bit of a return on capital but lets face it, when you spend that much wonga you want to maximise your return and do it sooner rather than later.

 

Lol, Disney recouped the $4B before TFA even hit theatres, all thanks to merchandising. So $4B isn't a lot of wad when you look at the big picture.

Realistically speaking, I'd say 10 years after the release of IX sounds plausible - Especially since it's 10 years between ROTS and TFA.

They re-purposed a lot of elements from previous installments. I hope they'd do the same this time and give Luke an apparel that to an extent is similar to his outfits in Return Of The Jedi.
