If you have not got or seen it yet the IDW Star Wars Adventures Beware Vader's Castle hardback is a nice book maybe a bit small but i would be happy for more IDW SWA collected that way.

I presume that Knight Errant will be one volume as well as the pre KotOR tales of the Jedi, Golden age of the Sith stuff will be one also.

I would think they'd do Golden Age of the Sith, Fall of the Sith Empire, TotJ 1-5 (Onderon and Nomi) and Freedon Nadd in v2 (18 issues), then Dark Lords of the Sith, Sith War, and Redemption in v3 (17 issues). Not a perfect split by story, but it's hard to avoid.

As to Knight Errant, I'd think that'd all be in one that might also contain Jedi vs Sith - there's not much else from that era, so they kind of all have to mash it up.

That answers as to how the WotBH event is going to work - main mini with satellite tie-ins, which will likely expand on mentions or bits of the main series, while continuing each ongoing's individual storylines.

The alternative model is they do one big story with the pieces labelled - Part 6, 9, 12 etc.

So we'll have the Alpha issue, then 5 issues each of WotBH, BH, Aphra, DV, and SW, then maybe (me guessing, no intel) an Omega issue to cap it all off. I would expect an oversized hardcover collection for that in early 2022.

Hard to say how an Omnibus will be structured.

@Kruegar - spoiler code that, will ya? Also applies to @Ancient Whill 's post too.

As elsewhere it has been, be good to be consistent about that.

yah I can't believe it, hellova pull (I guess Obi-Wan didn't blow him up and his age doesn't matter). But since the 2D Clone Wars series is being added to DisneyPlus in April, it sort of makes sense that something from there will pop up.

Obi Wan didn't even blow him up in Legends it took jetting him into the sun in one of the Dark Horse comics and even then it wasn't completely set on whether or not he was dead.

Well my Doctor Aphra omnibus arrived today, having never bought a comic omnibus before this is definitely an impressively chunky volume. I got the edition with a blue cover with Aphra and Tolvan on it, binding seems good so pretty happy with it from the brief look I've had so far. Don't normally buy much in the way of physical comics but as Aphra is one of the few bits of the Disneyverse I truly love/enjoy I decided to go for it. As the spine has a 1 on it I assume we're supposed to hope we get a second omnibus at some point containing her current ongoing run.

I'll just try and pretend I didn't waste my money on the Vol. 1 OHC that will never get volume 2 now... but I got the omni for a good price so I guess that's something. Certainly tempted to pick up the Kotor omnibus when that arrives later this year, although with their handling of SW OHCs I'll try not to get my hopes up too much for future volumes.

I've just had my copy confirmed by SpeedyHen - it's on the way!
Perhaps is the best answer here, a Volume 1 does not guarantee a second.
My solution was to place it with the Aaron OHCs, as it fills a gap there, but it definitely irks when Marvel stop doing OHCs then later do a much pricier Omnibus. Plus, the Omnibus editions have gotten harder to obtain since Jan 2020.
Yeah, Marvel's collecting of SW material is quite random. Though they did announce two more SW omnibuses, which is something. Hopefully it means they'll do Gillen's SW run and the current stuff.

Never heard of them, but the prices do seem more reasonable than elsewhere. I'd like the Kotor omnibus but not enough to pay the ~£90 most places are listing it for at the moment so maybe I'll give them a go for that.
As for OHCs I dunno anymore, they don't seem interested in producing volume 4 so maybe I'll just sell or give them to someone but like you say perhaps a Gillen omni will appear at some point.

They sometimes do extra 10% codes, I used one and that took the Aphra omnibus down to just over £55 from a £61.25 pre-order price. Another good place for cheap UK buys is BooksEtc. But both of these have found it harder getting Omnibus items in stock over the last year.

The way it is looking right now Marvel don't seem to want to do high volume numbers at all for OHCs, so for SW I think maybe a Gillen omnibus.

Is there really going to have to be a fourth Menace Revealed Epic? We're still missing
    *The Bounty Hunters: Aurra Sing
*Poison Moon (Dark Horse Extra #44-47)
    *Starfighter: Crossbones #1-3
    *Republic #46-48: Honor and Duty
*Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones #1-4
    *Hasbro/Toys "R" Us Exclusive #1-4
between Menace Revealed v3 and Clone Wars v1. Oh, well. Something to put on my wanted list for 2022 . . .

After seeing them concatenate the two Rise of the Sith epics into one omnibus, you have to think that there's a plan to do two Menace Revealed omnis and two Clone Wars omnis if the Rise omni sells well.

It would have been great if i knew beforehand that we would get the dark horse Legends comics in Omnibus. But i've already went too far down the epic collection route. So my rule is i'm going to just keep getting Legends in epic and canon in HC/Omnibus.

Kmow what the worst bit is? Your buying the epics likely proved there would be a market for Omnibus editions.
