Amph Marvel's Hawkeye, Introducing Kate Bishop and Pizza Dog

I'm hoping that Little Cesar, ERRR Pizza Dog will get a chance to be heroic in his own little way before this season is over.

Also, I'm hoping the "Uncle" isn't the next Ralph Bohner.

And I hope the watch the Track Suit Mafia was attempting to steal isn't a red herring.

Finally Yelena!!

Yelana showed up and she seems legit ticked. Also finally used the "It's Okay." Nat clip from Endgame. And it was even called back with a musical instrument sting when Kate was hanging off the building.

Anyway they talked about boomerang arrows and now I need to see them. Also Clint saying he has a collapsible bow was great.

Still not sure what the watch is though, someone who retired? Steve's watch and it could reveal his base on the moon or something aha

Could the watch be tied to Laura?
She knows how to run background checks for Clint. She speaks Russian. And before this, we know that Fury helped Clint keep his family off the grid. What if this was about keeping Laura and the family safe?

She speaks German…hmmm, could Laura have been a S.H.I.E.L.D. intelligence officer too?

Clint pinched the Ronin sword as he would.

Kate’s empathy for Clint is very sweet.

And now we know where Clint’s new costume will come from.

Also, the bell heavy dark music leading into the credits is another track I want to own (Along with the techno theme that announced Maya).

It was too early when I watched that I forgot what it was she spoke. But yeah, I’m thinking there is a reason Laura has been in hiding off the grid all this time. Also, why was she home while Clint was out in the city with the kids? Could it be that she can’t be out in public?

Yeah, I wouldn’t be surprised if Laura is a former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. Or someone S.H.I.E.L.D. was protecting. Like could she be the MCU version of Laura Brown?

 

Great episode. None of felt like filler, every scene was fun. Wish I could binge the remaining two episodes now.

she speaks Russian too. Certainly not out of the realm if she’s former S.H.I.E.L.D. -or a Hydra defector- as Nat was. If Laura’s intelligence, then staying off the grid is critical.

Those are great ideas and I like they are hinting there is so much more to Laura too

And, yes, collapsible bows are a real thing.

I think this was my favorite episode yet because of how it really focused on the development of Clint's partnership with Kate. And I can't help but wonder... are they building up to Clint getting a new costume, just like how Wanda and Sam got new looks earlier this year? Are we actually going to get something similar to Clint's purple outfit from the comics?

Did Kate's mom hire Yelena?

I did not think I would like the trick arrow route, but in fact now I love it.

EDit: Oh, she may have called Fontaine who employs Yelena!

No, I think it's all set up in the post-credits scene of Black Widow.

Val set up Yelena to make her believe that Clint was responsible for Natasha's death.

This is why most of us were expecting Yelena to show up at some point in the show.

It’s an interesting possibility though. Perhaps Eleanor has ties to whatever the hell is going on with Valentina. I mean if they’re going to tie Yelena into the actual plot of the series it makes sense.

Yeah, I 100% don't trust Eleanor Bishop. Especially when she asked Clint to "drop the case", not "stay away from my daughter" implying the case or whatever it would uncover would hurt her more aka hurt her business and whatever that entails.

Stupid internet spoiled Yelena. I saw an article title that thankfully didn't say her name, it said a familiar character was returning or something like that. I thought maybe Kingpin but probably too early for that if the rumors/speculation are true.

It's kind of been spoiled if you look at the promotional artwork on the Disney+ app itself. Specifically I spotted it in the banner but I think it's been in the trailers too.

Little points i wanna make:

Jack stole Ronin's sword in the first episode
Jack used the sword against Clint and let it around in a EXTREMELY careless way
Later Clint stole it back.
Ok, now i wonder:

1) Jack expected Clint not to recognize the sword ?
2)Eleanor didn't saw Ronin's sword ? Didn't recognize it ? Didn't care about it ?Why not think it's weird ?
3) After all the trouble Jack went through in the first episode to get Ronin's sword will he really Clint take it away so easy ?

Aside this, how awkward was the whole Laura thing ? She looked someone very diferent from what she was always been depicted in the MCU movies till now. In the first episode, as amny people noticed, it was very weird she wasn't with the rest of her familiy in New York. Now, maybe there's a reason: she can't go back to New York. she hiding something or hiding from someone. Anyway it came really out of the left field.
