    So my guess is that:

We meet “Uncle” at his home base- the former Avengers tower.

Why bring it up if you don’t address it? And, with the setting being New York City, how can you “not” address it. Ergo, he bought the tower and we’re finally going to see the true Kingpin of crime operating from his lair.

    Also, anyone thing the watch

Could be one of the Time travel devices? Wasn’t that basically a watch they all wore? Honesty can’t recall.

That is true, the time travel watches were what they used to slide through time so maybe it could be that.

    Episode 3

Plus we get a Shang-Chi reference (technically we got dragons introduced via Iron Fist, but the “different worlds” metaphor would fit SC better beyond bring 10,000% more likely despite the DD & possible LC connections).

    And, Trust-a-Bro, [face_laugh].

We also have the acknowledgment, and rejection of, the comic book costume.

Sweet Alaqua Cox interview from Disney’s D23 magazine, quoted from TheDirect.com

I really love how the show is portraying hearing loss and deafness, feels grounded. It’s made me even more sympathetic to my mom (whose had hearing loss for a while), and so appreciative that everyone has gifts we can appreciate.

    Cannot wait for more Echo.

If D'Onofrio doesn't reprise his role then I guess that means the Marvel Netflix shows are either non-canon or take place in a mirror universe. I'll be bummed with either explanation.

^ And in that new teaser
in response to Kate saying “Who’s That?!” probably Yelena in stealth suit with night vision goggles at the 11-12 second mark, there’s an electrical discharge similar to Black Widow on the Rockefeller Center flag poles.

We could get an option C) D'Onofrio Kingpin but Netflix Defenders explicitly non-canon or a variant parallel universe (kind of like JK Simmons as JJJ in Far From Home). But frankly that seems way to esoteric an explanation to get in a show about Hawkeye. So it seems likely (cuz that chuckle damn well sounds like him) D'Onofrio is Kingpin (Which would be dopey if they recast anyway) and there's nothing that explicitly contradicts the Netflix adventures, if anything same actor/same character/same history. The non- Marvel Studios stuff is canon and nothing has blown it out of the water yet, Darkhold showing up in Wandavision is a bit of a squint but easily doable.

I doubt they’ll even acknowledge the existence of the Netflix shows. They’ll probably just use whatever pieces they choose and discard the rest.

yah as mentioned I'd view it like a Suicide Squad / The Suicide Squad situation. They don't mention what happened before but nothing explicitly contradicts it either. A lot of times new creative teams on comic book runs sort of pick and chose characters, in this case it may share some of the actors as well.

I don't think they'll mention the Netflix continuity but that doesn't discard it either. However, they could inadvertently or intentionally Thanos-snap the whole Netflix run continuity by just saying "Wow, Wilson Fisk is the Kingpin?!" Although once again, you have to start getting specific about details here. If he's just Fisk is Kingpin, that works smoothly with the Daredevil show (fill in the blank he's not in prison currently cuz he's the freakin Kingpin). Or, y'know, a major contradiction like Ben Ulrich shows up. Or Matt Murdock shows up played by Charlie Cox going "Yes, father! I shall become a Daredevil!"

The MCU has tried to limit origin stories since Phase 2 (which is why most [though obviously not all] hit the ground running in some fashion or another- or are backdoored-in by another character/team's film). It wouldn't surprise me if they'd rather just let the Defenders serve that function for those interested but to officially hit the ground running with DD/Fisk in a manner that makes it a jumping-on point for mainline MCU viewers. Hell, even the DD series itself started off with Matt already taking on crime (though the series dalt with flashbacks later on, of course).

At this point, I would pretty much expect all of the major Defenders casting to reemerge in the MCU proper one day, except for Danny and (if Colter is busy) Luke.

    EDIT- Ep3 spoiler

As far as events go, just having Kingpin show up here works fine. It's been 9 years since we last saw him in DDS3 (set late 2016/early 2017), which is plenty of time for him to have been released through some means (either legally or through illegal manipulation-hell, maybe he got snapped outside of jail during transit and came back there from the Blip and was, thus, "freed"/able to escape; him being snapped would potentially help explain his age if there are any noticeable physical differences, similar to how the show itself is seemingly set when it is to allow the Hawkchildren actors to remain age appropriate since filming Endgame).

It would also track if he is staying to the shadows again/staying out of the public eye, due to his failures during DD. Him overseeing/backing a small outfit like the Tracksuit Mafia would, well, track. And he wears a suit. Sorry, I'll show myself out... ;). And, actually, we see him here in 2007, 7 years before DD S1. So him being involved with a small time outfit "early" in his career also fits that pattern as a bookend.

well that was a lot of fun .
altho - I'm not sure what advantage there is to driving backwards , and why did he have to retrieve his sucker arrow?

He uses it to swing on later.

He doesn't use it to swing on (that's a grappling arrow of some kind that he shoots into the bridge)- he uses the plunger arrow by hand to save them from rolling/falling off of the subway train that they swing onto.

Driving backwards allowed them to line their shots up better, so he wouldn't turn when she was about to fire (since they could then both see her shots/targets as he wouldn't have been able to hear her going forward). Though, in reality, they most likely wouldn't have been able to have driven that fast in reverse due to how most cars work (though I'm not a gear head, so maybe that older model car could have been an exception?).

Daredevil and Kingpin both arguably work fine if they're just "introduced" to the non-Netflix crowd and universe as established characters who've been operating in New York through the Snap, with the Snap acting as a handy "fresh start" for their story timelines. Even Bullseye works well with that.
