McDonald's "I'm Lovin' it" Ad Campaign

Ronald McDonald just needs to fight the creepy BK King to the death so this can all be over with.

And, incidentally, I used to use the phrase "I'm lovin' it" before it became the new slogan. I no longer use the phrase, for fear of being sued.

 

Did you also use "ba-ba-ba ba ba"?

I hate this campaign, especially the radio commercials. They make me want to stab myself in the ears. I don't like McDonalds all the much anyways, but when I think of eating there I think of those commercials.

I only ever go into McDonalds now to leave something in their rest rooms.

When I see the golden arches, I get a 'conditioned' response if you know what I mean

Their rest rooms are usually impeccable, though.

Marketing personnel take heed, this could be the basis for a whole new campaign.

That's useally easier to do after eating their food.

 

I remember a few years back a local radio talk show did their show from a McD's parking lot because the Air Force had their little "Fighter Simulator" there. The only good thing they could say was "aren't their restrooms just so sparkling clean?"

 

I hate that new commercial where the girl is like "Don't tell me we don't have time for dinner".
What crap. Who rights this?



And they say "Totally five stars all the way". Bull****. More like "Totally 1/4 stars all the way".

 

And then there's a girl who is apparently enjoying being rained on--and apparently she is loving it.

What MacDonald's have you been going to? Our local MacD's might have a fireplace, an Xbox, and a flatscreen TV, but the bathrooms are way nasty.


And, you know, even with all those cool addition, I still haven't been to a MacDonald's in several months.

 

Speaking of their "I'd hit it" campaign,whoever thought up that one? Someone who doesn't visit Fark.com,I guess.

 

I think Sonny's BBQ had a similar ad campaign. My brother and I were eating there once and I saw a hanging sign that had a picture of BBQ pork, and it said "Nothing like good pork" or some such. And I thought, "wow, what a great sexual reference. And now I've lost my appetite."

But that second part isn't true, because BBQ ribs are equal to heaven on earth.

EDIT: I thought I'd also add that I like the BK commercials. The King had an air of disturbing dominance about him that I found amusing.

Ive noticed latley that BK seems to be teaming up to advertise....like the Star Wars toys and the Fantastic Four thing and the Amazon.com dollar thing. I think BK is way better at advertising.

 

Bioengineered waste processed with tons of sugar and stuck under a heatlamp is so much better when there's a clever ad campaign behind it.

I hate McDonald's commercials but the food is just so so good! Especially the breakfasts.

 

I'm thinking it's about tie to drop the irritating fad ad campaigns and just make one that says "We have good, cheap food." Whether or not it's true is beside the point.

 

Why are you girls so animated?!
