Meeting #3 - Celebration II weekend?

Suit yourselves, guess I'll never meet you guys,considering you picked Friday, which I can't go then, so if you see a pissed off looking guy on Sat. or Sun., stay out of his way or he will force choke you thru the convention walls...

 

I'll send an e-mail to Force.net that we are going to be meeting together outside Tatooine (500 Ballroom) between 7:30 and 8pm when the movies start.

Besides, I'm sure we're going to run into each other at the various events and exhibits. Worst case, anyone finds Padawan and myself...we'll have 3 people

Again, I'm sorry for anyone who thought this was going to be more complicated then it needed to be. I was under the impression that the Fanforce party was being held in the convention center Celebration II was in. That and throwing out ideas without much information made this complicated.

 

I don't see any reason why we can't meet in the same spot both Friday and Saturday. 15 minutes before the movies start outside the Tatooine Room. Reborn, since we've never met I'll wear my shirt with the Rock Hall logo on back Saturday. Sound good?

 

Why the hell do you have to keep picking the worst dates in the galaxy for meetings? This is Celebration II for Christ's sake- not everyone can make it Friday, and for such a groundbreaking meeting, I'd have liked to have attended...but that isn't going to happen now is it? Kinda makes me want to quit this stupid Fanforce crap altogether...but anyhow, sounds good DonC, I'll try to find ya among the confusion...I'll be wearing my black Jedi Outcast T-shirt...it has the blue Jedi Outcast logo on it, it's a wicked shirt. BTW don't mind my offensive grumpiness, I'm just in a crappy mood from a long day at work, and I'm excited as hell and also nervous as hell for getting ready for this trip!

How do you think all of us who aren't going to Celebration feel?

 

I'm sorry Reborn, I know Friday is a bad day for you; just because some of us are meeting up Friday doesn't mean that's the only time us Clevelanders are going to get together. The good thing about Friday's movie is...it's a specific event held both Friday and Saturday (Tatooine-500 ballroom) at the end of the day so we all can do the things we want.

Speaking of which, I'll be wearing my orange "X-Wing Squadron" hat from the first meeting (not easy to miss) outside Tatooine on Friday and Saturday. Shall we plan on gathering Saturday for the ESB/RoTJ showing at the same place and time?

And for everyone who couldn't attend CII, I'm bringing my dad's digital video camera! Maybe next time we all get together, we should meet somewhere that I can show you the video! And everyone else bring their pictures. Kinda like a SW "home movie party?"

Sorry for my outburst in that last post of mine...I'm known to get a temper now and then. We're all fans here, and that's what matters. You all represent Cleveland for the third meeting, and while I'm driving up Friday evening, you all represent without me. Besides, I'll wreak havoc when I arrive Saturday and Sunday anyhow with me and my Dark Lords of the Sith...ahem...I mean my friends. Sounds good to meet up on Saturday evening, I'd like to meet you all, maybe get my friends in the FanForce as well (they're all from different areas of Ohio but I have a friend that lives close to here, so we might get a new member on the forums!) As for your comment, Random, yeah I realized it must suck to not be able to go...but hey, think of it this way...you got about 3 years to save up and plan for Celebration III! That one will probably be the best of them all anyhow. And Krash, if you can make copies of your CII home video, I'm willing to buy a copy off of ya! I was wanting to see if someone could hook me up with a video from the convention. I'll even swap pics for one lol, I got at least 4 disposable cameras at the ready, I plan to take tons of pix. Well enough of my babble (overexcitement does that to me). Considering most of you are leaving today (Thursday), double check your checklists, have a good safe trip to the convention, and may the Force be with you! Hope to see you all there!

Yay! I'm leaving today! I get to meet some other people that I talk to on the forums!

But first I have to get my report done. And last through school...

Hey, Reborn, (mind if I call you RJ?) there will still be plenty to do on Saturday and Sunday.

 

I've got all my stuff packed, except the car, and it's 1:30 in the morning so I'll use this last post before leaving to tell everyone to drive safely and I'll see you in Indy.

Hey DonC and Krash - thanx for screwing me over on Saturday! I really enjoyed waiting outside the 500 Ballroom for over 20 minutes before the movie showings like a complete idiot looking around for you two no-shows. Thanx a lot!

 

Cindy, her folks and I were outside the Tatooine Room from about 6:10 - 6:45 (along with 2/3 of the rest of the attendees). Krash and Emily got there about 6:30. If we left before you got there I'm sorry, but we were all tired and had been standing since 9AM, we went and sat down.

 

...that and Krash forgot his orange X-Wing hat at home...

Sorry Reborn, as Don said, we waited as long as we could for you. I was hoping to see you among the crowd, we kept meeting the same people all over the place. Hope you had a good time regardless of whether you found us.

 

Sorry we didn't stay around the room longer. But I guess Krash forgetting the hat was kind of a bad thing too.

 

It's ok, I didn't want to stay for the movies anyway, it totally ticked me off to see all those fans in that room with no chairs or anything, just sitting and standing all smooshed together like cattle, they really treated everyone like crap at that convention and truly shafted the fan club members...at least I got decent pix that I'm still waiting to get developed...

 

We didn't stay for the movies either of the days. So you didn't miss much other then the lightsaber fight. HAHAHA. that was funny.
