thats handy for everything anyway.....

and PadawanSDM is right to give people daytime options..... some people on their first visit to the city might want to sightsee, whereas the local crowd might be more socially inclined...

I'll happily do my tourist guide bit for those that require it, anyway...

then get them all back togther with a dinnertime assembly...

If the whole day goes well, it mightl be easier to contemplate more structured meet-ups in future.... boat trips etc.... because we'll have a better understanding of who we've got......

 

Sounds like a good idea double D. Central Station is where the trains from England arrive, easy to get to from the airport, it's near the shopping, bowling, laserquest all pubs and restaurants.

Assuming I can come along, I'd be happy to show people around.

 

I'll come down if yous are gonna spend the evening in the pub cos I can stay at neil's who lives 10 minutes walk from town = also free parking for moi. Though I am reluctant to go to Glasgow cos bad things always happen to me there

I know I wouldn't have to get two trians when I go durham I normally go on the train that goes Glasgow central.

From Edinburgh, get the train to Glasgow Queen St cos it's quicker. The trains are nicer too. Well, if you're going via Edinburgh of course...

 

It passes Edinbugh but I can get a train directly to Glasgow.
